Daryl POV

Oh god, twelve pounds that's a big baby. I'm looking at Emma while she's cooking dinner, she's going to be huge if that's the case. They should've neutered me years ago, I could kill her by her having this child, especially if we have to leave here. She's safe here.

I never knew kids could be that big, Judith was so small and Lori died having her, Emma's going to die having my child and I'll be forced to raise two kids without her.

"Babe hello?"

"Huh yeah. What?"

"I was saying your name and you weren't answering me. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"What's wrong babe?"

"Nothing."

"Sure there isn't Daryl. You know you can talk to me about anything. Are you still worried about the size of Dylan?"

"Yes, I am. Dylan's going to be a big baby by the sound of it and that's my fault so if something happens to you that's on me."

"Really? I helped to make this baby. So you aren't to blame. Babe, I'll be fine."

"How can you know?"

"Because if I can deliver Merlynn in the middle of a forest I can do anything. Dylan'll be easy."

"You might die, I don't want that."

"Hey, I don't either. Someone's gotta teach Merlynn to be a girl." She giggles at me.

"It's not funny Judith's mother died having her and she was tiny, this itty bitty thing seven pounds or less, Dylan'll be nearly twice the size, I'm scared Em. I'm scared I'll kill you having this baby."

"Baby I'll be fine. If not I was meant to die like that, just make sure I don't come back promise me Dar, and look after my babies."

"I don't think I could do that Em. But I'll do it if I have to."

"Honey if you're so worried why don't you talk to Denise more she can reassure you or Rick."

"True I might go do that after dinner. Which smells great babe. Come here." I watch Em walk towards me. "Come sit on my lap."

"Is something going to rise is it?"

"Not everything is sex you know. I just wanted to talk to you that's all."

"I'm sorry I'm horny all the time at least I have someone here that can relieve me. Last time all I had was my fingers believe they aren't as good."

"I forget you're a tough bitch babe. I know you'll be okay I just worry. I don't wanna lose you. You're the only person who's loved me for me. I don't think I could find that ever again."

"Good means I'm irreplaceable. But also means you love me, babe."

"I do Emma. So much."

"I love you too. You sure I can't ride you?"

"Yes, I'm sure as much as I would like to I'll make it up to you tonight."

"Hmmm okay. Well, come on dinner's ready."

We ate then I left Emma to go see Rick and maybe talk to him. I knocked on the door Carl opened the door holding Judith, she looks at me and reaches out to me. I take her off Carl.

"Hey, Lil ass-kicker. How's my other girl doing? Learned anything new?"

"She's starting to stand. So walking won't be far off." Carl said.
