Daryl POV

I watch Emma getting dressed. How she could ever think that I'd sleep with anyone else? She's the only woman I'd want to sleep with. I need to get her to stop saying she'd sleep with Abe I hate it when she does, it worries me that they will. I know they like each other, though I don't think he would you never know.

"How are you going there, babe?" I watch her wince as she moves around the room.

"I'll live."

"If you aren't ready to go we won't baby. You can stay they aren't kicking you out."

"Nah I have to get back to it. Back into a routine. And you've been chatting this house up I hope it is suitable."

"Now why wouldn't it be? I can pick a good home for my family. I might be a redneck but I can pick nice."

"I'm sure it is. I'm just tired babe."

"Well rest when we do get home. I'll look after you babe, that's all I wanna do."

"You don't have to Daryl, I'm not useless, I can look after myself I don't want you to change Daryl."

"I'm still the same man you married."

"Are you? I'm scared I'm not what you want."

"You always are Em. There'll never be another woman I only love you."

"You mean that? You still love me. Even if you've been separated."

"Oh god yes darling. I never stopped believing I'd find you, I had faith that you would be alive and safe. I didn't want to think you wouldn't make it. You take as long as you need Emma, I'll be here waiting. I know we can't at the moment but that doesn't mean we don't love each other. I have to ask do you still love me Em?"

"Yes Daryl, I'm scared I'm not what you want anymore. I want more than just a housewife and mother. I do want to get back to doing what I was loving. Can I go back to doing nursing?"

"Of course babe. Is that what you are worried about."

"I want more, I loved what I had before everything went to hell. I don't know what I'm supposed to do Daryl I feel so out of the loop."

"It will come back to you. You will get your groove back."

"What if I don't? I don't think I'll know myself. Hell, I ain't what I was nine months ago let alone two days ago."

"Honey you don't have to leave our house until you feel ready to meet anyone."

"Okay, let's get this show on the road."

Emma POV

I finally dressed and am ready to go. I pick up Patrick and we head out. As soon as we do I hear it.

"Hey girlfriend, they let you out. Oh, they are getting cuter by the day." I feel Aaron hug me. "You okay?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine once I'm at our new place." I dread to think what it is like I don't like change I never have, I suppose I should be used to it.

"You'll love it, babe. It has a big kitchen. I think you'll like it, babe."

"I suppose." I'm looking around I don't know what to think about this town is it safe? We thought Alexandria was safe and look what happened there. I know this place is no different, someone or something will make us lose this place as well.

"No, you will." I loved my old home, and I loved the cabin I don't like this place.

"Okay, Emma baby we will come and see you, lots to tell you about everything that has happened since you've been away." He hugs me and walks away. We walk towards a double-story house.
