Two months later...Emma is eight months

Emma POV

Oh god I look at myself in the mirror yeah I'm not as big as I was with Dylan but I'm starting to get bigger, only one month to go. Daryl and I are prepared as because Dylan was early I could go anytime but we think she'll be on time and not a day early. Daryl has banned himself from hunting in the week before I am due as he said and I quote 'there is no damned way I am missing the birth of another Dixon. Already missed out on two not anymore if I have to tail you all week I will."' I must say protective Daryl is very sexy.

I look at my dress I choose a light green baby doll dress as Enid asked if I could be her bridesmaid, I let Enid raid my closet and we found her a lovely white maternity dress that she could wear. Jessie did our hair, Enid asked Eric to walk her down the aisle they picked the only song they could think of 'chasing cars' by snow patrol.

"I'm scared, Emma."

"Enid honey there's no reason to be scared or worried."

"What if the same thing happens like when you and Daryl tried to get married."

"Nope, not gonna happen. There are more people here and everyone won't let it ever happen again."

"I don't wanna wait anymore, Emma. I wanna get married."

"Come on honey let's get you and Carl married babe. I'm very happy you are in my life Enid you remind me of my sister Jackie. You'd have liked her she was a sweet girl, I miss her and my mom so I understand you, honey, I'll be whatever you need me to be, substitute mom or sister or just your friend."

"I love you like a sister Em. You're the best big sister ever, never had a sister before."

We leave the house and walk to the park where the ceremony is. I pass Enid on to Eric and I walk down the aisle toward Carl and Daryl. Daryl smiles at me, I smile back at him. Eric and Enid start walking toward Carl. Eric stops and Enid is surprised when Rick stops them, takes Enid's arm, and walks her the rest of the way to Carl. Rick passes her on to Carl. They smile at each other.

"Hey, beautiful."

"Hello, handsome."

Daryl and I spot a seat for us and we sit down, he wraps his arm around my shoulder and his other hand is rubbing my belly which causes Darla to move.

"Everybody we're gathered here today for the marriage of Enid and Carl, young they may be but they have good heads on their shoulders. They wanted to show their family and friends the love that they have for each other and for the family that they are creating with each other."

"Carl repeat after me"

"After me." The audience laughs at that.

"Now Carl be serious."

"I, Carl take you, Enid, to be my wife. I promise to always be your biggest fan and your partner in crime. I promise to create and support our family, in a household filled with laughter, patience, understanding, and love. I vow not just to grow old together, but to grow together. I will love you faithfully through the difficult and the easy. What may come, I will always be there, each one believing that love never dies. As I have given you my hand to hold, so I give you my life to keep."

"Now Enid repeat after me."
