DAYS WERE GOING by quickly, and the bonfire had been a success. The children around the Metkayina clan were still talking about it days after it happened.

They always came up to Tuseÿa, asking her when the next bonfire will be held. She always told them "Soon", but if she was honest she didn't know if she even wanted to have one again.

The bonfire had been great if she overlooked what happened at the end of it, but that was not something Tuseÿa could just forget.

Ever since the bonfire Tuseÿa had been avoiding the Sully's. Not only Neteyam but the other ones too.

She certainly did not enjoy doing it, especially since she loved spending time with the oldest Sully sister too, but every time she was around her, her mother gave her warning stares.

After the bonfire Tuseÿa couldn't bring herself to deliver Tsireya the news that they should completely distance themselves from the Sully's from now on.

But Tuseÿa also couldn't admit to her mother that she'd been too scared to tell Tsireya, so she just left it and hoped that her sister was going to find out another way.

This turned out to be a big mistake.

Tsireya was currently feeding her Ilu alongside with Lo'ak, both visibly blushing at the sight of each other. Anyone could see that something was going on between the two.

And so did her mother. Ronal was approaching the two lovebirds with an angry stare, looking down on Lo'ak. She obviously thought that he wasn't worthy of her daughter.

She could not stand him at all, just seeing him gave her an headache. "Come." Was the only thing Ronal said before dragging her daughter out of the water.

Tuseÿa helplessly looked back to the boy, confused on what is happening she mouthed, "What is happening" but Lo'ak just shrugged his shoulder watching the girl disappear.

He wanted to grab her hand and pull her back, but knowing how her mother thought about him, he just let it be. Ronal was very intimidating, people didn't dare to talk back at her or disagree with her.

That's how much the people respected her.

But for Tsireya it was different, she obviously didn't react well to her mother's sudden disturbance.

Tsireya being the stubborn girl she was threw a whole tantrum about it which led to this family meeting.

"Mother, it's unfair! They are good people, I know it!" Tuseÿa's voice got aggressive which her father disapproved with an angry look on his face. His eyebrows were deeply furrowed and multiple thin lines were created on his forehead.

"Don't talk to your mother like that, you hear me Tsireya?" he hissed, his index finger poking into her chest multiple times.

Ao'nung held back his laugh, not really caring about this family meeting at all since for once he wasn't the cause of it and he wasn't a big fan of the Sully's to begin with.

Although he was going to miss making fun of them.

"Tsireya, darling, your heart is too big. You trust people to easily." Ronal cupped the cheeks of her daughter, her voice being light and soft.
