Zay pov
"Z-zay are you alright?" I saw Mia in the kitchen while making Tea blood again.
"What did you put in there?!" I approached her.
"T-this is your medicine Zay" She stammered
"Have you forgotten that i don't put medicine in what i drink?" I purposely dropped the cup of blood with a poisonous medicine.
"ZAY! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" She raised her voice
"GET OUT ON MY HOUSE!" I clenched my hand when I saw her smiling at me then she left immediately.
I held my aching head, The medicine that Mia put in my tea was too strong, not good..
I walked until I reached Kate's room where she was sleeping.
"Brother Zay, Chad just left looking for Kate because she's missing a whole day" Said Beverly who had just entered the door.
I was about to go out the door when Beverly stopped me
"Brother Zay don't follow them, Your condition is not good and it's dangerous out there....I have a confidence in your brother and I know he can handle it for Kate's sake." And my head hurt even more when I heard the word danger.
Beverly sat me down and talked to me.
"Brother Zay, do you know why Kate is doing this? Because she was jealous and one time she saw you and Mia in a room, she was sitting on your lap, Kate couldn't stand what she saw so she ran away" I remembered the day that I refused what's Mia wanted and I left her where we was sitting
"I-I need to find her" I stood up even though it was difficult for me to walk.
"They're here" Beverly approached to open the door. Chad lifted Kate unconscious.
"What happened to you Chad?" Beverly asked because of the blood stains on his clothes.
Chad laid Kate down on the bed then came over to me.
"Brother, take Kate back to the pet shop instead we seeing her to suffer, your taking care of her is not worth it!" He pointed his index finger at me.
"Treat her well or else I will put her back where she belongs" he added.
"Enough Chad and Zay, this is not the right time for that" The anger in her eyes.
I approached Kate while lying on the bed, I touched her forehead and it was very hot.
"Take this brother, put it on her forehead" I took it then i did what he said.
"Thank's brother!" I thanked him but Chad ignored it
"We're leaving, Please take care your pet" he added then they walked out of this room.
Later I looked at Kate's neck and saw her unconsciousness.
"Forgive me Kate" I said until I fell asleep.
I felt that Kate had woken up but I couldn't move my whole body.
"Thank you, you're okay, Kate" Beverly hugged Kate then gave her the soup and other foods.
Kate ate it without hesitation.
"Thank you Beverly" and continued to eat
"No worries, Kate, if you need help, we're always here," Beverly added
Why can't I move or speak and can't even open my eyes, Kate touched my forehead and she felt my body shaking.
After just a few seconds I felt drops of water
"W-why did you let me go? I thought you would show up to save me? Do you know that I almost perished?" She was wailing in tears, It's all my fault.
"Drink this Zay if you want to be with me forever" She slowly opened my mouth and I felt a trickle and the taste of blood.
It's her blood dammit! It's been a long time since I've tasted Kate's fresh blood, as time goes by I'm getting wild and I can't control myself. I also opened my eyes and sucked the cut on Kate's hand even more.
"Fuck enough Kate!" I forced her palm away from my mouth and sat down slowly.
"I'm s-sorry Zay, I just want you to get b-be..." She was treating her hand and stopped when I pulled her arm and hugged her tightly.
"No don't be sorry it's my fault" I helped her with the treatment of her palm, After finishing I kissed her hand slightly then looked at each other. I wiped her tears then my hands went down to her jaw, our lips were close to each other but she avoided me.
She stood up and left me alone in the room.
Just over an hour later, my body was fine again. I often meet Kate but she doesn't say a word and just looks straight ahead.
A few days later...
Kate must have been wondering because Mia and Bhea no longer come to this palace and one time I followed her to the library and sat right in front of it.
"I'm sorry for what I did to you Kate, don't treat me like a ghost around you" I said calmly.
Kate didn't spend a few days with Beverly and Chad because they left.
She just frowned and looked at me then she asked "what else do you want?" I suddenly thought about this question...
"Go back to my room" I said directly
She just stared at me and thought for a moment.
"I have a room Zay, What else should I look for?" She told it without hesitation
I just crossed my arms as I watched her reading book. After a few moments, she folded the book and said goodbye.
"Hey! What's wrong with you? Why are you acting like this?" I ask her immediately then I hold her arm.
"Let me go Zay!" She immediately Walked and at that time I didn't waste any more time so I followed her and I carried her thigh upside down.
"You brat! Put me down!" She beat my back until we went to my room.
"What the fck are you doing Zay?" I dropped her on my soft bed but she immediately got up and ran to the door.
"I locked it Kate" I just stood there as I watched her actions. She just sat in the corner and she didn't speak again until the darkness had passed.
She was still sitting and her eyes closed and snoring. I smiled then I carried her to my bed until I was also next to her for a moment.
