In the next hours, I stayed in my family's group. We talked about how I was doing and I revealed to them that everyone has been great so far and that the rumors were pretty far from the truth. Thankfully, they also agreed because they experienced it first hand when Parker came to inform them about the party. I couldn't help but laugh every time my family had innocent questions. All of the things I hated about them before, I cherish now.

I also introduced Hailey to Kyra, and I swore something clicked between the two girly girls. I was right in front of them when they began talking about shoes and bags or something. My mind wandered then and I thought of Adam. I looked around and saw him sitting on one of the free benches, talking to a girl.

By the way his cheek heated up in a rosy color, I could tell that something happened. "Oh my gosh. Hailey, I think Adam found his mate!"

Hailey and Kyra stopped talking and approached me. "Really? Who?" Hailey asked and I pointed to Adam. Him and the girl he was next to had their backs turned on us, so that was why I didn't recognize the woman.

However, Kyra did. "What the heck?! Aubrey, that's Rachel!"

"Huh?" I mumbled and looked at the bench again to watch the woman. When she slightly tilted her head to the side, I saw her face and it confirmed that it was indeed Rachel.

"Why do you guys seem worried? What did Rachel do?" Hailey curiously asked.

"She talked shit about Aubrey!" Kyra revealed, and as I looked at them, their expressions shifted to that of an angry cat.

"No, the hell she did not! Kyra, come on!" Hailey said and Kyra nodded. They were about to race towards Rachel, but I quickly stopped them before they could do anything stupid.

"No, girls, please! Rachel might've said some rude things to me, but Adam is still her mate. They both deserve to be happy. Don't they?" I said, and the two paused while looking back at me with hesitant gazes.

"You truly sound like a Luna now," a voice suddenly boomed. Parker appeared behind me and held my waist with restraint. I chuckled at him. "You think?"

"Yup," he replied cutely and kissed my cheek. "Would you like to dance?"

I raised my brow at him. "I thought you didn't like to dance?"

"I don't, but it's your birthday," he stated playfully.

"Wow. What a surprise!" I chuckled and we reached the dance floor filled with bodies swaying to the romantic music.

"Yeah. Just for today, though," he said, paused, and added, "The next time could be our wedding though."

My eyes widened in surprise. The way he said that made me wince because he seemed so sure of me. "Stop. You're making me blush," I mumbled like a shy teenager, making him laugh. Then, we danced, receiving stares as the Alpha and Luna of the Blue Moon pack danced together for the first time.

The entire night seemed to pass by quicker than it should've. Perhaps, I had been enjoying it so much that I didn't notice the time. Still, I was sure that I was beyond satisfied. After all, I was so tired after spending as much time as I could with my friends and family.

Of course, after tearful goodbyes, my family had to go home. Upon watching the rear of their car disappear in the distance, I remembered what I was trying to do for tonight. With that, butterflies swarmed my tummy.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't let the apprehension get a hold of me.

Parker drove the two of us back to the mansion, and all was quiet until we reached our bedroom. Before Parker could change, I pulled him close to me and said the words I'm sure would make him the happiest.

"Parker?" I held his arm and he turned to me.

"Yeah?" he asked attentively, and I let my mouth run before me. "I can't thank you enough. This night is the best night of my life..."

He smiled at me with a gentle gaze. "You don't need to thank me. You deserve the whole world, Aubrey."

"I love you, Parker."

Silence ensued after I said that. Although my voice came out soft, I knew he heard me clearly. I could see the shift in his expression. If he was happy earlier, he was absolutely jubilant now.

Before I knew it, I was swept off of my feet. Parker lifted me from the floor and held me against the wall. I wrapped my legs around his waist and curled my lips as he kissed me passionately.

After about a minute or so, he pulled away whilst heaving heavily. "I love you too, Aubrey. I have for a while now..."

Nodding, I mumbled, "I know that." Indeed, I have every idea of how he felt. After all, he has been so caring, loving, and selfless for me.

Once again, we shared a passionate kiss and I let my tongue wander this time. I propped open his mouth with mine and sucked his tongue for a good second. I could feel his stunned self gripping his wall of sanity. Pulling away with a smile, I whispered, "I want to mark you."

His shocked face greeted my determined one. "Y—You do?" he questioned, his breathing still heavy and unsteady.

"Yes, because you can only be mine," I declared in all seriousness.

"I'd be more than willing to, Aubrey. Thank you." After that, he sat down on the bed, pulling me atop on his lap. So, I guess we're starting now, huh?

Trailing kisses down his jaw, I hungrily hemmed as I tasted the rough stubble on his chin. If I knew he'd taste this good, I would've done this the first time I met him. I then nipped down his neck and let my lips find the perfect spot to mark him. I found it in no time, the clear skin coating the side of his neck.

Wasting no time, my canines showed themselves, and I sank them into his soft skin. Much to my surprise, Parker didn't flinch, nor showed any signs that I was causing him pain. Instead, he let out a satisfied grunt.
