I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes 'til I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change and breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakawayBreakaway by Kelly Clarkson

Audriana
Do you know what's worse than being late? Being late to your first day back at your job. I woke up late to a toddler drawing on my face. I barely had time to shower. Yesterday after getting back home, I went straight to sleep. I was exhausted. My body was needing a good sleep without drugs and alcohol. It got what it wanted and it was amazing.
A brick wall of a man bumps into me hitting me with hot coffee. I hold back a scream as I look up. My clothes are drenched and ruined. What am I going to do now? I have to go to work like this.
"I'm sorry. Did I get you wet?" Matteo's voice fills my ears.
I take a deep breath and move around him. I walk into the building and go clock in before heading up to the second floor. I walk into the mailroom and immediately regret it as my boss glares at me. The hairy man struts over to me and clears his throat.
"Where the hell have you been?! We are loaded down with mail and packages today!" He yells.
"It's been a long morning. I woke up late and this guy spilled coffee on me this morning," I reply calmly.
"Get the fuck out of here! You're fire! I'm tired of your excuses!" He yells.
I roll my eyes before turning around and walking out. I go get on the elevator only to see Matteo standing there with a bag in his hand. I step on and turn my back to him.
"I went and got you a change of clothes," he murmurs.
"Thanks, but I won't be needing them," I reply.
"Why?" He asks.
"I got fired," I reply.
I pull out my phone as an unknown number pops up. I answer the phone and put it up to my ear. I take a deep breath as I curiously watch Matteo in the reflection of the doors.
"Hello, this is Jessica from Faylan Architect! I was calling to confirm your interview with Mr. Jones today at one," a female's voice fills my ears.
"I will be there!" I reply.
We hang up and I put my phone back into my pocket. I turn around and look at him. He has a blank expression as he wears his business suit.
"I need those clothes," I murmur.
"It's almost twelve. Where are you going to change?" He asks.
"I will change in the bathroom when I get out," I reply.
He hands me the bag and I take it. I open it up and see a beautiful red dress. I pull it out and set the bag on the ground. It's modest in the sexiest ways. The doors open up and I rush out. I make my way to the bathroom and change into the dress. I fix and fluff the dress before leaving the bathroom.
Matteo stands by the front doors looking out. I walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder. He turns around and looks at me. His eyes trail up and down my body as he reaches up to my ponytail. He pulls the rubberband out letting my hair dropdown.
"Beautiful even if you are working at a rival company," he murmurs.
"Well, if you would stop teasing me with the whole sex thing then maybe I would convince you that you are missing something important," I reply.
