"I was born in Jeju but unfortunately had the opportunity to settle there for a short time. Almost all the memories I have of it are related to whenever I visit my dad.
I think everyone knows that Jeju is surrounded by the ocean, so the sea is a big part of the island's culture and identity.
Dad has always lived there, he has a seafood restaurant right on the coast - he loves to fish, he often catches his own to cook it on the restaurant. I've gone with him more than once, and when we came back and got off the boat, we always stayed a few minutes with our feet on the shore, looking at the horizon.
That's why I decided to tattoo this wave on my ankle, to remind me of all those moments"
