჻ 100 endless days had passed, finally
჻ This meant that Jin was allowed to take a time off from the military service he was fulfilling
჻ Chaeri had marked each day with an 'X' on the calendar in her apartment, to keep track of how many more were left until that moment
჻ And there she was, squeezed into her too-big leather jacket, in front of the stairs of the apartment building where they had once been used to live all together
჻ The wind kept ruffling her hair held up by a scrunchie, but little did she care
჻ The rest of the boys, around her, kept laughing and chatting
჻ She felt she was completely spaced out, unable to keep her focus on their conversation
჻ All she did was keep looking down the road at the private driveway where they were
჻ A black car would pop up any second, and she wanted to be the first to welcome Jin back
჻ Namjoon wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pushing her toward him to give her warmth "We are all anxious to see him again"
჻ Chaeri nodded "I have missed him so much."
჻ The shadowy street lit up, a sign that two bright headlights were crossing the driveway.
჻ It took a few seconds before the awaited vehicle stopped just a few feet away from them, at the edge of the sidewalk
჻ Chaeri slipped out of Namjoon's arms, raising a hand to stop the bodyguard who was getting out of the car to open the door for the guy
჻ She did it instead, opened the door and froze as soon as the face of her "older brother" appeared before her
჻ She had planned to hug him, tell him how much she had missed him, but instead she felt stuck
჻ Jin smiled at her, knowing her, along with the other members, better than anyone else
჻ He knew that she was experiencing a mix of so many emotions that she couldn't figure out what she wanted to do first
჻ One of the things he loved most about her was how much she showed herself as a woman, proud and mature to the world, and how, instead, with them she felt free to show herself in all her shades
჻ "Aren't you going to hug me, you brat?"
჻ Chaeri did not give him a chance to get up from the seat because she entered the vehicle and wrapped her arms around him
჻ Her eyes damp with tears
჻ "I-I..." She couldn't finish the line, caught in a sob
჻ "I missed you too, kid"
჻ She could stand anything in life except having the members, aka her family, leave her
჻ She had never gotten used to Jin's absence
჻ And now that he was with her back, she knew that letting him go again would be even harder
჻ But she decided to enjoy those few days without thinking about when the time would come for goodbyes again
