8: Unspoken Truth

Jimin opened the door as Yoongi brought Lolo back to her bedroom, carrying her in his arms. "We are here, Lolo. Here." Jimin mumbled.

Lolo giggled, snuggling closer to Yoongi who laid her on the bed gently. Jimin helped him by holding her head and slowly placing it on the pillow. "Carefully."

Yoongi adjusted her figure on the bed while she was busy giggling by herself which made the two men confused. They exchanged glances and then looked back at her.

"Gosh, she's quite heavy," Yoongi complained and Jimin rolled his eyes at him. "She's not. You're just weak."

"Might be the case." Yoongi adjusted the blanket on her and took off her glasses. "We cannot sleep with her tonight, Jimin. We will sleep on the couch." Yoongi announced and Jimin agreed instantly.

Since she wasn't sober they should not do something against her will. "I'll go wash first," Jimin said, standing up and walking out of the room.

Yoongi turned his head from various angles, admiring Lolo's face peacefully. "We are here to make you happy. That's the reason." He mumbled, fixing her blanket.

"I'm glad you guys are here." She mumbled as if she was speaking in her sleep. Yoongi smiled and placed his lips on her hand before tucking them inside the blanket. "Me too. It's so good that I can see you so closely, Lolo."

She slowly turned her face to open her eyes slightly and smiled at Yoongi. "This time let's stay together for a long time."

Yoongi's smile dropped at her request but then he gave her a tight smile before nodding and mumbling with his lips on her hands. "Sure. Let's do that. I'll always be here with you."

But unaware of them that someone was listening to them from outside the room with a sad face. Jimin gulped down the dry lump in his throat and bit his lips to control the tears before walking away from there.

Lolo opened her eyes and felt two arms wrapped around her body. She turned her face sideways to see Yoongi cuddling with her while Jimin was sleeping in front of her but at a distance, without touching her.

She slowly removed Yoongi's hand and sat up on the bed when Yoongi dropped an arm around her waist to stop her. "Where are you going?" He whispered huskily but Lolo shook her head, removing his hand and standing up.

While Yoongi pulled Jimin towards him to hug him while Jimin groaned in his sleep. She exited the bedroom and walked towards the fridge to drink some milk. She took out the bottle but it was empty.

"Those two hungry felines!" She cursed under her breath and rolled her eyes, throwing the bottle in the dustbin and then grabbing her wallet from the drawer. The bedroom door opened and Yoongi came out while yawning when he noticed her walking towards the exit.

"Where are you going?" She turned and saw Yoongi still had his eyes closed and was scrunching his nose. "To the convenience store."

"Let's go together." He said in a sleepy tone and Lolo smiled at him. "I will be back soon. Please wait for me at home patiently." She warned him and Yoongi watched her walk away.

The bedroom door opened and Jimin came out while stretching. He looked around and frowned, walking towards the couch to plop himself there. "Where is Lolo?"

"She said she was going to the convenience store," Yoongi said and sat beside him on the couch. "I see," Jimin mumbled and placed his head on Yoongi's shoulder, closing his eyes.

After a minute, Yoongi abruptly stood up, causing Jimin to fall down on the couch as he declared, "I want to follow her." Jimin slapped his arm and pulled him back on the couch, glaring at him.

"Just sit down! Just wait quietly." Jimin expressed in annoyance and placed his head back on Yoongi's shoulder who was sulking like a kid.

Lolo exited the store with a bag of snacks in her hand as she was licking on the ice cream that she bought. She was walking on the road when she heard someone scream. "Lolo!"

She turned to her side and saw Yoongi waving at her on the other side of the road. She scoffed and giggled at him. "I told you to wait at home." She mumbled to herself but then she heard a loud honking of the car.

She panicked and turned around to see a lot of vehicles moving in front of her. She looked to and fro on the road and her heart palpitated. She looked back at Yoongi with tears in her eyes as she recalled something,

The way Yoongi got under a car and lost its life.

I just wish that no animals die because of car accidents. It hurts that humans are causing their death.
