12: Omurice

Yoongi opened the main door and entered back into the house, holding the bag of groceries. He placed it on the table and wore the apron that Lolo wore every day before looking at the house. He opened the curtains, letting the sunlight enter the living room.

He walked over to the dining table, lifted up the glasses, and cleaned the table. He washed the dishes and arranged the items on the bookshelf when his eyes fell upon the picture frame of Lolo, her mother, Jimin, and him.

He smiled lightly and touched the grey-furred cat but then glared at the orange-furred cat in her mother's hands. He walked away from the spot and placed his ear on Lolo's bedroom door to listen if she woke up or not.

But getting no response he walked back to the kitchen to prepare her a meal. After some preparations, he walked back to the bedroom to check her, creaking her door open to see her awake on her bed.

"Are you awake now?" He asked and she looked at him with a pale face. Yoongi slowly walked over to her and showed her a cup of hot chocolate and a pill in his hand. She sat up on the bed to look at him.

"Here. You always had your medicine with chocolate milk." Yoongi said, handing her the cup and medicine. Lolo looked at the cup and smiled before turning back at him. "That was long ago."

"Really? Then do you want me to change it to water?" Yoongi asked with a teasing smirk but Lolo shook her head. "No, it's okay." Yoongi grinned and motioned her to take the medicine which she did.

"Thank you," she mumbled, and Yoongi's eyes softened. "No problem. Then take some rest." He said, taking the cup and walking out of the room.

"You're hungry, right? Do you want me to cook something for you?" Jin asked Jimin who was serving a customer. "Yeah, thank you." Jin nodded and walked away.

Jin rolled up his sleeves and whisked the eggs with the chopsticks in a bowl while Jimin was watching him in amazement. He poured the mix into the heated pan while Jimin was staring at him continuously.

Jin was shaking and swirling the pan over the heat while stirring it constantly with the chopsticks to let the eggs cook when he felt Jimin stare at him. He smirked before asking, "Why? Do I look cool? Do you think you will fall in love with me?" 

Jimin stiffened at his question and tilted his head at him. "What are you talking about?" Jimin asked, walking out of the kitchen. And Jin chuckled while cooking the eggs.

Jimin was sitting on the table, holding his fork and knife when Jin came holding two plates in his hands. He placed the plate of Omurice with gravy and the other one had some steak with salad. 

Jin walked away from there and returned back again with two glasses of orange juice and asked Jimin to eat. "Thank you for the food," Jimin thanked and Jin smiled, watching him scoop a spoon of the omelet, rice, and gravy into his mouth. "How is it? Does it taste good?"

Jimin's lips curved up and he looked at Jin with a pleased expression. "It is really delicious." Jin sighed in relief. "I'm glad it's delicious. It's been a while since I have cooked this."

"It's delicious, why is it not on the cafe menu?" Jimin asked while devouring the food. "This is the recipe of my eldest sister: Lolo's mother. I couldn't make it as delicious as hers, so I just removed it." Jin explained and Jimin nodded.

"Omurice made by my eldest sister was somewhat special. I can't dare imitate that." Jin said and Jimin looked at him, "This is delicious too. But I think it will taste better with butter in the sauce."

"Butter?" Jimin nodded and Jin narrowed his eyes at him.

Yoongi was sleeping in a sitting posture with his back resting on the door of Lolo's bedroom so when she opened the door, Yoongi fell to the ground.

"What are you doing here?" She asked him while he was staring at her from the ground. He quickly stood up and faced her. "Lolo, you are awake. You should get more rest. You would be hungry." Just then her stomach growled and she looked at him awkwardly.

Yoongi smiled at her. "It's past mealtime. Hold on, Lolo. I will cook something for you." He said, making her sit at the dining table.

"What are you going to cook?" Yoongi turned to look at her. "There is something I wanted to cook for you since the before."

Lolo lifted her head from the table when someone shook her. She woke up and saw Yoongi jerking his head to point at the dish in front of her. She turned to look at it and her eyes widened,

"Omurice?"

Using all the egg recipes that I know in this book because I want to eat egg but if I eat then I'll die because of my allergy.
