Hey everyone, so I wanted to kind of clarify something. I know there are teen mothers out there and some pregnancies were sadly unavoidable. I also believe in doing what YOU feel is right. However, when I write these teen pregnancy stories I am not saying that I am for it.
I write those oneshots for kicks and sometimes heartwarming, but I personally do not think it's a great idea for being a mom in the teen years. I have had a lot of friends who had babies when they were teens and I'm sad to say only a few of those people actually cared for their child.
Teen pregnancy isn't a good idea in my opinion, because I've seen (from an outside perspective) about what it can do for you.
I also know a lot of you are extremely intelligent about what to do and not to do. You are all wonderful. Again I usually just write those teen pregnancy things to be cute, but not fully approving it.
I apologize if I also seem like I am gaslighting or being a hypocrite, but I had someone message me saying that I am a fucked up person for writing something like this. When honestly all I wanted was a twist in a story, to change it up, to make it somehow cuter, and just put reality into it.
I also want to tell you that if you are a teenage parent, that you are an amazing person too. Please don't ever feel like you aren't. I believe everyone has their opinion and I just wanted to state that I am not trying to make it sound like I am influencing you to have a baby at a young age.
