Persistence (Injustice2 Damian Wayne x Reader)

(Roy was mentioned in Injustice: Gods Among Us, but I am just mentioning him. I never heard about him in Injustice 2 though... should have been a character in it. Btw I see Damian, in Injustice 2, not only as a cocky guy but as a guy who will NEVER give up until he gets what he was. Most likely he will flirt with you until you finally give in. He is spoiled, so he will keep going for you until you allow him to be in your life. I might also do a Yandere one for Damian later on. BTW if the pictures for the texts do not show, let me know and I will try to find a way to post them.)

"You sure have grown up." Bruce said with a smile.

You smiled at him as you stood beside your mentors, Oliver and Dinah. "Thank you Bruce." The two had actually adopted you when you were very young and they adored you.... Well more of Oliver, wasn't the real Oliver so he wasn't the true Oliver you were raised by. However, you were their second child, since they adopted Roy first, then they adopted you, then they had Connor together.

You had been trained quite a bit and you had a personality that could be serious yet a little bit of a goof ass. You even got to train with a few other "sidekicks". You even used to train with Jason Todd, before he died. You have seen it all because it was how you trained and who you trained with. There were times even Bruce would ask for you to come stay with him, to teach you voluntarily. You spent quite a few summers at the Wayne manor and beside Dick's side.

Damian envied you, but he also felt something else towards you. Something he didn't know. It was like fondness, but stronger. He would argue with you, fight you, and just be an overall asshole to you. You were better at hand to hand combat than he was. He would always brag about how he had a katana and you knew fist to fist combat with the weaponry of a bow. If Damian had it way when he was younger, which usually he did, he would have you stay on the sidelines while he saved the world. But as he grew older he knew he had a crush on you. It wasn't until he was sixteen that he really thought of you. Yeah you didn't see him since you were thirteen, but it didn't stop him from thinking about you. He wondered what you looked like and talked like, he just kept wondering.

Now you were back, because a bunch of shit had just gone down. Gorilla Grodd had joined forces with Scarecrow along with a few other super-villains. Last time you worked, or saw Bruce, had to been when you were thirteen. Now you were eighteen and you had grown a lot. Both mentally and physically. You had heard what happened to Damian and you wished it didn't go down that way, despite how much of a demonic fucker he might be. Oh this was going to be fun. Just as soon as you thought it was going simple, no. In came a fucking killing alien to destroy Earth. Talk about a long eye roll.

Seeing Damian, Cyborg, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Superman, etc. was so odd to see. Now one thing, there was no lying, Damian had matured nicely in looks wise. However, he was still an asshole. You kept yourself on the mission. It was the true worry right now. There was no time to mess around. Just in a few minutes you grew close with Supergirl. Kind of funny in a way. You didn't trust Wonder Woman at all, so you didn't work with her.

Yet... you had to work with Damian, which fucking sucked. You knew you were going to regret as soon as he opened his mouth.

"You look the same." Damian said.

"Yeah." Was all you said, because this boy knew how to push buttons. You were stocked up your quiver with different arrows.

"How about me?" Damian asked.

"You look the same, I guess too?" You said.

Damian scoffed. "I am just as tall as Jason Todd and I have grown muscular mass." He said trying to make you notice him up some more. "So I don't look the same."
