Rising Up (Damian Wayne x Reader) Zomb. Apocalypse Pt.1

Two hundred forty-seven people went missing within two months around Gotham City and even at Jump City. Bruce, Batman, was pulling up everything on these missing people, but the only things he had was traces of last known cellphone pings that police had used prior. The police would ping the phones, go search, and find abandoned cellphones with no trace of anyone. The police eventually had to just hand them over as cold cases, which was very disturbing for most people who had missing love ones.

One night Bruce took Robin, Red Hood, and you to Gotham City's police station while Red Robin and Nightwing went to Jump City. The objective was to download all the information from the phones, by plugging them into some computers, that would send Bruce and Tim information to try and find any possible linkage with all these missing people.

Red Hood, your mentor, handed you a plug in device. "You and the Omen go plug into some phones."

Robin growled. "Fuck you Todd." He growled.

"Language." Bruce said in a stern voice.

Robin growled and rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Come on (Y/S/N)." He walked with you to some of the evidence lockers. The both of you began to plug in device into the different cellphones and even scan them that would show any unique residue on the phones. You had to be on your twentieth phone scan when you paused. There was a speck of blood on the phone that caught your eye. You scanned it, but the scan said that it was an unknown substance

"Damian?" You asked in a soft voice.

Robin, Damian, walked over and had that normal scowl on his face.

"That looks like blood to you right?" You asked.

"It is blood." He said with an eyeroll.

"Don't be an ass Damian." You growled slightly. "I mean look." You scanned the blood again and it said that the substance was unknown.

Damian highly doubted it was your scanner that was wrong, but he tried his own scanner and it said the same thing. He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. "Okay." He mumbled. "I'll be back." He went to a supply room and had wet a cotton swab, then came back to you. He swabbed the blood off and put it in a plastic bag. "Let's keep searching the phones and search for more of that blood." He said.

Two hours later you stood in the Batcave with Jason, Bruce, and Damian. A video call was being broadcasted in the Batcave too. Which Tim, Dick, and the Teen Titans were on the other end of the call.

"From what we found there was like these special trackers on these people's phones." Dick said. "Like almost specifically picked. It was almost like they were being tracked for a few days and then they were kidnapped within four days of the tracker being placed."

"But there was also some blood that was found." Starfire said.

"Same here." Jason said.

"Yet it keeps saying that the substance is unknown." Dick said. "But Tim found something."

Tim pulled up a screen. "So you guys sent us DNA from the blood swabs you collected and we ran the same on the blood swabs that we had. What is confusing is they all match. Like legit fully matching. It is almost like the blood was all from the same person, but it comes up with some weird substance that kind of deteriorates certain parts of the DNA."

"Well we plan to trace where the trackers' origins were." Dick said.

"We plan to do that too." Bruce said. "But Red Robin, Nightwing. I want you both here back in Gotham."
