Arkham Knight's Baby (Baby Reader & Jason) Pt. 1

Jason had gone through a lot when he was locked away in the abandoned wing of the Arkham Asylum. He was manipulated into so much and was forced to spill secrets. However, he didn't spill one secret that really was special to him. Despite him being sixteen, he just became a teenage father. Yes, it was clumsy on both halves having not taken better precautions, but Jason still took the outcome as a part of his life. He kept his head up and saw it not as a problem, but a very large learning experience.

Despite everything though, the Joker was able to dig a little farther into the background of Jason Todd with many help from his thugs. The young lady, who he loved dearly, was brought back to Arkham along with the infant she had just given birth to. The baby was a little girl, named (Y/N). She had (E/C) eyes, and (H/C) hair. She was very adorable and sweet, but sometimes could cry really loud if she wanted to.

One day when Jason thought it couldn't get any worse from all the torture that Joker and Harley had put him through, he was given a traumatizing "surprise". They ended up taking his girlfriend and his child into the room he was in, then executed his girlfriend. Jason's pleading and begging went ignored as they beat her to death. Jason cried and screamed in terror and in pain. Though he was not the only one crying. (Y/N) was too, and she was crying loudly, her little lungs helping produce a cry of discomfort and fear. She was only three months old.

"God. I can't stand to hear that fucking baby cry. Harley, go throw it in the water or something outside!" The Joker complained.

Slightly hesitant, Harley picked up the baby and carried her out of the room. She brought (Y/N) over to a large well that was near the asylum. She looked down at the infant and her own lip began to quiver. "Oh my god... I can't." She whispered. "I can't do this." She said with a shaky breath. Harley had to think fast of how to keep (Y/N) safe, but also away from Joker. So she asked her best friend Poison Ivy. It was a blessing that Ivy agreed... but she needed help. To have that help, she had to ask a few other inmates to help, which wasn't easy.

When the Arkham Asylum fully went crazy and everyone was free, Jason was able to flee. As he was trying to hurry and make his run, he heard a soft cry. He followed it and saw his little (Y/N) in a cradle of flowers.

"(Y/N). Oh thank god." Jason said as he picked her up.

Ivy heard him and surprisingly told him to take his daughter and leave. Jason fled with the baby, but had to plead to Deathstroke not to kill him or his daughter. Slade stared at Jason and saw that he could become a good ally, a strong one since he hated Batman now.

"Fine. But she better not cause a lot of trouble." Slade said.

"(Y/N)." Jason called out looking for his toddler around the office he just recently got. All suited up as the Arkham Knight, minus the helmet. "(Y/N), we have to go bye bye soon."

A fit of giggles escaped your lips as you hid underneath a desk.

Jason smirked at hearing that giggle. "I wonder where she could have gone?" He inquired out loud to get more of a reaction of laughs. "Hm, maybe she went behind this couch." He teased and walked around the office. "Nope she's not there."

You could see him walk around with his unique red, blue, and black digitally camo pants. His dark boots made quiet thumps as he walked around. More quiet laughter escaped and then he paused.

"Well I don't know." Jason said. "Oh well." He pretended to walk away, he knew he was out of your line of vision for now.

When you least expected it, he swooped his arms under the desk and snatched you up. You squealed in surprise and laughed.
