Lost (Superboy x Reader) !Apokolips War Spoilers!

((This one has spoilers in it. So if you haven't seen the Justice League Dark Apokolips War, then I don't recommend reading this. This story will contain angst, just like the movie, and suicide BUT I WILL HAVE IT BE A HAPPY ENDING. Oh and they will remember everything.))

You were guilty for ignoring Kon when he would hit on you. You would roll your eyes and insult him lightly, but you never meant it. He knew you never meant it and he always would be persistent to flirt with you. He had to be the biggest flirt you have ever met in your whole life. Always getting girls to swoon over him.

You first met him when you were introduced by Barry, the Flash. You were the speedster that was slightly bubbly, but wouldn't go much for the big flirts. You weren't related to Barry, but you sure showed a lot of similarities powers wise and personality wise... well sometimes. You were your own person of course!

Kon loved all girls, but his jaw dropped when he met you. Your figure was perfect to him, your (E/C) eyes were hypnotizing, your smile was bright, and your laugh was the best sound in the world to him. Head over heels way too soon? Yeah kind of was, but he never was so entranced by someone like that before.

Despite his flirting and those tiny insults you gave him because he flirted with you, he had became one of your closest friends. It was fairly often when he would call or text you to come by the farm or to Metropolis because he was there. Which meant you ran from Central City all the way to where he was at. Yes there were some sleepovers, BUT you two had to share separate rooms. Fair enough though. He did like to race you and there were times you would let him win.

One day you two were sitting high up on a building, at night. The two of you had decided to watch the stars, but also see how pretty the city of Metropolis looked. Though you were scared to death of getting close to the edge. He was sitting, his legs danging off the edge and gave you a look.

"You going to just stay over there?" He asked with a smile.

"We are over fifty stories from the ground. I don't want to fall." You said.

Kon looked at you with empathetic look. "I wouldn't dare let you fall." He said. "You can trust me." He said. "If it was way too dangerous, I wouldn't have suggested it."

You could tell he meant it. You slowly approached the edge and he held your hand out to take. You took his hand and held it then sat beside him. You stared down at the world beneath you.

"I told you I got you." He wrapped his arm around your waist.

You laid your head against his shoulder and nodded.

Kon smiled softly and held you like that for a while. The silence was actually comfortable and you relaxed a lot better. It had been quite some time since you met him and you had trusted him a lot. He had been by your side during small missions the two of you were on or the big ones with Superman and Flash. He never double crossed you and if you needed saved then he would save you. Of course you would do the same if someone would come running at him, you would race over and knock that person out.

He actually gave you a lot of respect and was there if you were down. There was no better friend than that. Actually.... there was no better boyfriend material than that. Yes he would get protective and always back you up. Honestly, you made his world at times.

The two of you were chatting, while you sat on that ledge with him, and you finally said it. "I do."

Kon tilted his head and cocked an eyebrow. "Huh? You rehearsing what you are going to say after I marry you?" He teased.

You looked up at him. "I am saying that, I do have a crush on you."

Kon smiled. "I knew you always did."
