Alduin's head was bleeding heavily and he had shallow breaths. That was not good at all. First I had to stop the bleeding. We're in a wheat field and I don't see anything for miles. I know that my pant legs are not the best option but it's the only one I have at the moment. I managed to tear the material of my sweatpants and bound it tightly to the back of his head. Then I check his pulse. He's getting weak.

"We need to find a doctor or something for him." I tell the dragon. "I think he's going into shock." They're going to have lots of questions. Like why was he naked or what caused the head injury. I'm not sure I could ever explain my way out of that one. I tore off my other pant leg to address the bloodied left eye and part of his forehead. I gently lift up his eyelid and his eye rolls back.

A car pulls towards us before coming to a screeching halt. It was Lydia, Serana and Lydia's boyfriend Bryan.

"Oh crap." He said, looking at the dragon and at me then at Alduin.

"It's a very long story but I'm alright." I sigh. I think I tore the stitches on my right hand but I noticed there's just a scar left on my hand from the accident.

"So what should we do?" Lydia was looking at the wheat, trying not to look at Alduin.

"He needs some medical attention for sure." I look at him. "And we need to cover him up."

"I know someone with an M.D. who won't say anything about this." Bryan smiled. Of course, he does.

"Fine, we'll take him to them. What about you, uh-" I start.

"Paarthurnax." He spoke. "I must return to the Throat of the World but call me from the skies if you need me."

I nod and he spreads his wings to fly away.

"I'm not even going to question it at this point." Bryan sighed. He reached into his car and took out one of those emergency blankets, throwing it on top of Alduin. I grab one of the coats from the backseat and make a makeshift neck collar with it.  We all worked together to try to lift him as gently as possible to the backseat. He groans, his eyes slightly opening but then closing.

"I'm glad we all took that EMT class in high school." Serana chuckled.

"So what happened? All we saw was you yelling at the dragon and him flying off with you." Lydia looked at me.

"I don't know....I only remember knowing who he was and shouting. Apparently he thought I was the Dragonborn." I responded, shaking my head. "I remember snapping out of it and he kept dropping me and making fun of me. Then Paarthurnax came to my aid and I remember that I blacked out again. Next thing I know, Alduin's on the ground as a human and trying to fight me before I shouted and he passed out."

"I mean there's still people who practice the Way of the Voice but you never struck me as the kind to do so." Bryan was turning on the ignition. Serana and Lydia were kneeled in the back seat while I was in the front seat. I take a look at myself in the visor's mirror. I have a bloody handprint on my neck and tiny gashes where he dug his nails into my neck.

"No, I am more of a non-believer if you ask me." I shake my head.

"Yeah, you are the sciencey type after all." Bryan turned out of the wheat field.

After fifteen minutes or so we arrive at a house in the middle of nowhere. I'm guessing this is where Bryan's doctor lives. He exits the car and walks to the door, knocking on it. A woman opens the door.

"Okay, who got shot this time?" She had long blonde hair in a braid and icy blue eyes.

"Well, he's got a head injury and a face injury." Bryan motioned to the car as we were moving him out.

"Put him on the table. He's lucky it just dried from the disinfectant." She walked into the house. We place him on a cold steel table. He's looking paler and his lips are losing color.

"Any of you nurses?" She asked as she was strapping a blood pressure cuff around him. I step up.

"Good. Start an IV on him and hook him up to a bag of saline." She spoke. I found the necessary items on a shelf. I pulled gloves on and wrapped a band around Alduin's right arm. Thankfully, he had good veins. I got to work on assembling the IV. Finally, something I know I can do.
