"Lia Avenicci!" It was Qahnaarin, maskless and angry. Serana threw a shock spell at her.
"Fuck you, vampire bitch!" She shouted at her into the wall. Serana was out cold.
"Sera!" I shouted. Qahnaarin tried to shout at me but I quickly threw a ward up in front of me. She was striking it with rage.
"You will not live to see another day." She shouted.
"Severine, stop!" I shouted back at her. "Stop!"
"Who told you my name?" She shouted Fire Breath at me. I put up the ward again. "Who told you? Alduin?"
"Your brother, Severine. He survived the attack that killed the rest of your family." I spoke to her then used the Become Ethereal shout.
"You're lying! You're trying to provoke me!" She shouted, swinging her sword at me.
"I am not! He came to me in the Dreamsleeve. He asked me to save you!" I yelled at her.
"You're lying! They all died!" She shouted. "I wanted to get them back, that's all I ever wanted!" Severine sounded distressed and in pain. "I escaped Helgen, I met the Greybeards, I defeated Alduin, and how did the Blades thank me? They killed the only people I loved!"
She managed to break the ward and deliver a blow to my arm. I screamed out in pain. I hear someone running.
"You're weak, Lia." She smiled at me. I was about to cast a ward when she swung at me. Suddenly, we were both blinded by bright light. I felt someone throwing Healing Hands at me. It was Serana.
"Sera..." I smile at her as she heals my arm wound.
"Severine, I know that you have not lost all your sanity." It was Adrian, but as a golden spirit.
"Adrian?" Her voice dropped a few octaves. Her arms were outstretched and she was slowly walking towards him. "Is that really you?"
"Yes, Sevy. You look the same." He smiled at her.
"Adrian, you've grown so much." Severine gently laid her hands on his face. "Adrian, you look so much like Father....." Her eyes were tearing up. I heard footsteps get closer. It was Alduin.
"Are you alright?" He asked me, kneeling towards us. I nodded.
"Look." I whispered to Alduin and Serana. Severine was hugging Adrian.
"Adrian, oh Adrian, I promised I'd tell you of my adventures and everything. And I never got the chance." She was crying.
"Maybe someday we can catch up on the things of the past. But now Miraak needs to be stopped. You better than anyone should know how." Adrian looked at her.
"He's much stronger than me." Severine spoke.
"That is where Lia and her friends step in. " Adria looks at us.
"I'm not helping her." Alduin flat out narrowed his eyes. "Not after you defeated me and trapped me in a pocket realm."
"I thought I had to in order to save the world. Now I'm not so sure anymore. You don't have to forgive me." Severine spoke. "None of you do. But I do owe you an apology, Lia."
I looked at her. She had got through a lot of shit. I couldn't help but to feel sorry for her. If the Blades hadn't killed her family, maybe she would have turned out different. I don't think I would have done anything differently.
"You are forgiven." I told her. "But if I suspect you're backstabbing us, I will send you back to Oblivion."
"That's fair." Severine spoke.
"Anyway, I must go back to Aetherius. Good luck." Adrian vanished. We all stared at each other awkwardly. Severine looks at me.
"I can't believe it. I- I- almost killed you!" She looks at me. "My kin, Adrian's last descendant. I almost-"
"Calm down, dovahkiin. I tried to kill her and she's forgiven me." Alduin crossed his arms.
"It's okay." I walked up to her. I hope I'm making the right decision. She hugs me.
"I'm glad that I didn't kill you." Severine spoke. She looked at my face. "I see Adrian and my mother, Cordelina in you."
"That's funny, that's my mother's name." I told her. It was like staring in a mirror as I stared at her. She was forever stuck at nineteen and my thirties were creeping up on me. I almost looked like her when I was nineteen except for badly bleach damaged blond hair and terrible eyeliner. Severine had what looked like war paint on her face.
"Lia! Serana! Alduin!" Lydia was carrying a warhammer, Bryan a sword, Odahviing had Auriel's bow and Paarthurnax was holding Harkon's sword.
"Everything is fine." Serana got up, dusting her dress. "I guess we just saw a family reunion and...an enemy reunion."
"Trust me, I'm thrilled to be around the Dragonborn again." Alduin crossed his arms.
"The pleasure is mine, you overgrown lizard." Severine smiled.
