There was a little boy with an axe to his back, staring at the corpses around him.
"Mama! Papa! Julian!" He felt panic kicking in. His mother was dead, a wound to her throat and cuts to her hand and arms. Mama had tried to protect him and the others but they were too strong.
Mama was cold. Maybe she was too cold to wake up.
"Mama, wake up! Please, I'm scared, Mama." He shook her. The door opened. Maybe it was Sevy, coming to rescue him.
"Delphine! What have you done?" It was an old man in mage's robes. Adrian trembled in fear. Was he here to hurt him?
"The Dragonborn turned her back on her duty. She was supposed to aid humanity instead the dragons, not spare them!" A Breton woman glared at them.
"And for that, you murdered her family?!" the man looked angry. "They had nothing to do with the girl's choice."
"She betrayed us. She's as good as dead to me, Esbern." She looked at him. Adrian trembled. She was the one that ordered the men to kill them. She was back to kill him.
"If this is what the Blades will become under you, you are no better than the dragons or the damn Thalmor. I resign my position!" Esbern shouted at her.
Delphine glared and left. Adrian trembled as the man approached him.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of you." Adrian saw the healing hands spell in the man's hands.

I woke up in tears. I wanted to hold the little boy and tell him everything was going to be okay. I vaguely remember touring through Akaviri temples when we were in middle school. I felt uneasy inside of them. Serana was trying to sweep the floor of our room.
"Are you alright? You kept muttering in your sleep?" She stops sweeping to pay attention to me.
"I just keep having dreams." I tell her, sighing. "I can't even explain them."
"Well, you know I'm here if you need to talk. So are Lydia and Bryan." Serana sighed. "Also there's something I wanted to speak to you about."
"What is it?" I ask her.
"I know I can't be the only one who's noticed Alduin is acting differently around you." She sat down on the bed.
"Oh, so I'm not the only one." I look at her. "He's been a lot nicer."

Alduin groaned in frustration. This was the second morning he woke up with dreams of Lia. He hadn't felt this annoyed in a while. He got up from his room and decided to go get water from the kitchen.
"I think he may feel something for you." He stopped, leaning against the wall. It was Serana speaking to someone.
"Like?" It was Lia, who sounded confused.
"I don't know if dragons are capable of feeling love but...I think he likes you." Serana spoke.
"You're kidding." Lia responded.
"I mean, it's a possibility. Maybe he doesn't even realize it himself." Serana told her.
"I mean, I don't know either. He is handsome, I'll give the bastard that." Lia sighed. "But this doesn't leave the room. I think I've grown a bit fonder for him lately."
Alduin felt his ears and cheeks turn red. What? No, he couldn't. Admittedly, that didn't sound like the worst thing that could happen to him. The last person he had loved was Aemma but she didn't even like him. Despite that, he mourned her.
"Have you?" Serana asked. "Considering everything?"
"I guess. Maybe he isn't so bad after all. But I don't want him to know." Lia sighed. "He'll probably use that against me."
Alduin walked back to his room. Paarthurnax and Odahviing were playing some kind of card game on the table.
"Go fish, bitch! Wooo!" Odahviing stood up.
"And you win again." Paarthurnax shook his head. "What's wrong, Alduin? You look like you're running a fever."
"It's-It's nothing." Alduin looked away. Odahviing and Paarthurnax looked at each other and then at him.
"You've been acting strange." Odahviing said. "You keep muttering Lia's name in your sleep."
"Well, I can't remember my dreams." Alduin crossed his arms. He definitely could. He was just not willing to share the content of said dreams with anyone, much less his siblings.
"I think you might be fond of the girl." Paarthurnax was smiling.
"That-That's not true!" Alduin wished he could turn to his true form and burn them for it. Odahviing shook his head, trying to conceal a smile.
"C'mon, we both know it's true." He responded, raising a brow.
"To Oblivion with both of you!" Alduin shouted, leaving the room.
He could hear them burst into laughter. He could feel his whole face flushed red. He wanted to throw things, to shout, but he couldn't.
"Uh, Alduin?" He turned his head to the voice's direction. It was Lia.
