Mikey was walking around the house party. He saw family members he's never seen before and started to talk to a few,
"So you're the last Hades kid?" A large man asked.
"Yeah" Mikey replied.
"I'm Ares, your uh" Ares said trying to do some mental thinking, "your cousin".
"That's cool" Mikey replied, he excused himself to go see his dad.
"Hey dad, when do I have to go back to school?" Mikey asked.
"Next weekend" Hades said.
"Oh okay" Mikey said and went to the snack table.
"Wanna go back to school already?" Satan asked, drinking some hot sauce.
"Are you drinking hot sauce?" Mikey asked.
"Yeah" He said.
"It's just.. this place doesn't feel like home" Mikey told him.
"How come, we're your family you belong here" Satan said.
"I know, I'm just so used to the sewers and the school, that being in a house like this is so...uncomfortable." Mikey said trying to make sense of it.
"But you were abused at the sewers, you were almost killed twice at school. How's that better then this!?" Satan yelled.
"I'm not saying that it was better I'm just used to it!" Mikey yelled back.
"What's so great about being in a dangerous situation for years and then being in a safe place isn't good enough!?" Satan yelled once more and chugged the hot sauce.
"I know you ruled hell for a long time but we are totally different!" Mikey shouted.
Some people started to look at them with interest.
"Beside your putting my business out there" Mikey said, while he gestured to everyone.
"Satan. Stop causing a scene" Hades told him.
"But he thinks being abused is better then being safe!" Satan said.
"No! I'm just not used to a good environment when I'm constantly being harassed and hurt!" Mikey tried to explain.
"Satan, Mikey's life isn't any of your business, go to the other side of the room until you cool off" Hades said.
"Mikey would you like to go talk?" Hades asked.
"No offense dad but I rather talk to someone else.." Mikey said.
Hades looked hurt but nodded. He called over Persephone.
"Would you like to talk to her instead?" Hades asked.
Mikey nodded.
Hades explained the situation and Persephone led Mikey outside, they sat down on some chairs.
"So what would you like to talk about?" Persephone asked.
"I don't feel comfortable here, I'm just so used to being in the sewers and being harassed by my brothers. And at School I almost died twice and I feel fine there. But being here weirds me out" Mikey explained.
"Your used to being hurt and never had a safe place to relax in?" Persephone asked.
"Yeah.." Mikey said.
"Well it'll be difficult to adjust here, but I think you'll get used to it soon but you'll be okay here, you can relax and enjoy yourself" Persephone said.
"But how can I relax when I only ever got some times or a few days to" Mikey asked.
"Well how do you usually relax?" Persephone asked.
"Read comics, or manga? Um play with action figures and play video games." Mikey said.
"Well you know your father will buy you anything you want to make you comfortable here" Persephone said.
"But it's so weird to ask" Mikey said.
"How about you think of something you want and I'll go talk to him" Persephone said with a smile.
"Well there's this manga series called blue flag I wanted to read" Mikey said.
"What's it about?" Persephone asked.
"The main character trys to help this girl get with his friend, but then the friend has a crush on the main character and then the girl gets a crush on the main character. They date, break up and then the the main character and the friend get married. I don't know there names that well" Mikey tried to explain.
"Let me go tell him, you can think of more things." Persephone said, she got up and went to go find him.
Persephone went inside and immediately saw him.
"Oh Hades!" Persephone waved him over.
He came over and asked what happened.
"To make him more comfortable here why not buy him things he-" She started but Hades already pulled out his wallet, phone and headed outside.
"Hades let me finish talking!" Persephone said and went after him, but got stopped by her mother.
Hades got outside and sat down with Mikey.
"So what things would you like? I can get whatever you like!" Hades said and opened his phone.
"Uh the manga series blue flag..." Mikey said.
"So you like manga?" Hades asked.
"Yes" Mikey said.
Hades waved over of the house servant and whispered to him.
"Alright he's going to buy any manga you want. Just say the name and it's yours." Hades said.
Mikey smiled and said multiple names to him and he wrote them all down. They bought Mikey more things and then he went back inside.
"The fastest delivery should be here next weekend or sooner." Hades estimated.
"Thank you dad" Mikey said.
"No problem said, now let's go back inside and party" Hades said.
"Okay!" Mikey grinned and stood up. They went inside and Hades introduced Mikey to the other family members.
"That is Zeus and Poseidon, my brothers, that is Aphrodite, Ares, Hermes, Demeter, Apollo, Artemis" Hades said.
"Let's talk to Artemis" Mikey said.
"Artemis!" Hades called out and led Mikey to her.
"This is my son Mikey" Hades introduced.
"Hi Mikey" She said and shook his hand.
"Are you having fun?" She asked.
"Yeah" Mikey said as he held his hand behind his back and rocked back and fourth on his heels.
"Well I do have to leave soon so it was great meeting you" Artemis told them as she finished off her drink.
"I can take your cup Artemis" Hades said and took it from her. He went to go find a trash can and Artemis took her leave.
Mikey went back to the snack table and ate some pizza, feeling better about the night.
