The sight of the woman flashed in between the seconds you had your eyes open.
When you were finally able to keep them open again, she was gone.
First, relieve washed over you and then sheer panic.
Was this a good or a bad thing now?
At some point you were too exhausted to stay awake and on your guard, if you would've needed to guess than you would've guessed that you fell asleep around 3am or so.
When you woke up, somewhere around noon, you were uncertain whether to tell Chrollo about your sleep paralysis or not.
For now you decided against it though, however you knew that he would find out sooner or later.
He was good at obtaining knowledge and squeezing information out of you.
But the sleep paralysis you experienced felt more like a dream now rather than reality, you knew that better though.
It did happen, you were a hundred (100) percent certain of that.
But as long as it felt like a dream, you might be able to convince Chrollo that it was when should he find out.
You got out ofthe guest room and passed the living room to go straight to the kitchen.
Your throat felt sore so you filled yourself a cup of water and downed it in one go.
Finished with that you went upstairs into your bedroom and with a pile of fresh clothes you got into the shower.
You felt better than you did just a few days ago but the hot shower still took some strenght from you, so much even that when you were done getting dressed you had to take a seat on the closed toilet for a moment.
You had just stepped out the bathroom and entered the hallway when Chrollo suddenly appeared in front of you.
"Oh my-" you exclaimed surprised and before you could say something Chrollo already took the word.
"Someone is coming." he said, watched you as you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion before you stepped inside your bedroom and looked outside your window.
You wanted to wonder who would visist you and why Chrollo knew it already, but as your eyes laid out on the driveway you got an answer to half your questions.
Just now a car was pulling up your driveway and parked next to your own car.
Even without the person leaving the vehicle you could make put the bright red lump of hair through the windshield.
Hisoka was visiting you? But why?
And most importantly; where did he get your adress from? Had you told him where you lived and had forgotten just that?
Whatever was right, you could worry about it later, you had to worry about it later because the red head was just getting out of his car.
Only barely you could back away from the window so he wouldn't see you as he looked up, just like you always did.
For a second you wondered why you were so worried that he came to see you until you remembered that he didn't know about Chrollo at all.
"Chrollo you gotta leave!" you quickly said, turning around to meet Chrollo's figure with your gaze.
He didn't need to utter a word to communicate his pure confusion about your urgency to have him leave.
"He doesn't know about you, I told him I live alone!" you quickly said, the doorbell rang only a moment later.
The sudden sound made you flinch for a moment, this situation was just a little to stressing for your sick bidy to handle.
If Chrollo simply decided not to 'dissapear' then there was absolutely nothing you could do.
Chrollos face didn't move an inch though, there was still an expression of confusion upon his features.
"Please!" you almost begged while making your way down the stairs to open the door.
There was no way you could act like you weren't home when your car was so obviously parked in the driveway.
"We can talk about this later, but for now please just do what I ask of you!" you continued and you could only make out a short and slight nodd from Chrollo before you had to open the door to not arouse suspicion from your coworker.
"Oh hello Hisoka." you said, your word having the octave of a question.
Instead of answering though he only nodded with his signature grin.
"What brings you here?" you asked.
Suddenly you felt the leftover water from your still wet hair tickle down your neck uncomfortably and cold.
"I just came to see how you were doing, may I come in?" he asked and you were about to politely tell him off by saying you weren't feeling too well to have a visitor over.
This probably would've worked as well since your voice was still quiet hoarsely from this morning, in that moment you were glad about it.
But before you could really form a sentence, he had held a pot of...something almost in front of your faca and under your nose.
"I've bought you a little something as well so you could get better soon." and with those words he started to take a step in your direction, with another two he had almost pushed you aside and you had no choice but move to the side and let him in as to not to collide with his body.
You thickly swallowed down the sigh that was lingering in your throat.
As you closed the door and turned around to guide Hisoka to the living room, you took a final look upstairs.
Luckly Chrollo really had complied to your request and was no where to be seen.
In your mind you promised him that you would make up for it.
