i wish i could say that this one shot is a Little longer than the other ones but that would be a straight up lie...it's almost 13k words long...
i really didn't mean for it to get this long but well, there wasn't a turning back after the first 6k :,)

The silence in your room was not an indicator of peace.

Instead, it was the quiet before the storm or rather before a tsunami because the storm had already entered the house this morning and had left not even an hour later.

the worst was, that you were the eye of that storm.

only occasionally you could hear some footsteps around the house and some hushed voices trying to stay barely above a whisper despite their irritation.

this morning a letter arrived together with a man who gave it directly to you.

your mother had opened the door since your father was still asleep due to last nights work.

"Yes?" she had asked before even looking up, you only saw the whole ordeal because you were supposed to help clean the house today and wanted to start downstairs.

"Oh my-" your mother gasped and took a step back in shock as she recognised the King's guards uniform.

the man was tall and thin, his greasy brown hair was slicked back to somewhat hide it.

his uniform hung loosely on his body and dark circles shadowed his eyes.

"Is (y/n) present in the moment?" he asked and your mother silently nodded before turning around to call for you.

she stopped mid movement as she saw you standing not too far away from her.

you had heard the conversation so you, carefully, walked to the door.

"this letter is for you." the King's guard said while handing you a snow white envelope.

the paper was soft, bright and felt heavy in your hands.

you took the appearance of the letter in for much longer than the thin man seemed to have patience for.

your mother nudged your arm with hers to tell you to hurry up, which you did.

you opened the letter and read it hastly, flying over the text with your eyes.

but it was enough to make your mouth gap open in shock.

your mother took the letter wordlessly, read it, and only a moment later all hell broke loose.

she yelled at the King's guard to get off her property, to leave her child alone and never come back.

the guard left but not without telling your mother that they'd return tomorrow at noon to 'collect' you, like an object.

only a moment after closing the door behind her, your mother had told the rest of the family what was written in the letter and what was dooming you by tomorrow.
