My phone rings, it's dad. -hi dad- I say. -hey, the gig is done. We are getting ready to leave- he says. I nod,-okey, can you take food with you?- I ask while turning my voice higher, I pout. -hmmm, what food would you like dummy- dad asks. -mmmmm, mc Donald's?- I ask. -sure, let me guess, a mc chicken and mc flurry oreo?- he says,-yep- i say. -fine, but did you make your homework?- he asks. -I actually just finished, I'll show you when you are home- I say. -sure, I'll be home soon, love you- he says. -dad, one more thing- I say. -yes?- he asks. -can we visit mom's grave tommorow?- I ask. -ofcourse, we'll bring her flowers, her favorite ones. Sunflowers- he says, I smile. -sure- I say. -I gotta go now miracle- he says -I love you dad- I say. -i love you more little one- he says, I smile and hang up. My mum died at my birth, it was either her or me dead, dad let mom decide herself. And she choose me to live, but everyday i miss her, even though i have never met her. Dad tells me about her alot, wich is nice. I get up from my desk, but then i hear glass break, then our house alarm goes off. I gasp, I grab the iPad that has the security cameras. I see a man dressed in black climbing through the kitchen window quick, he's wearing a creepy mask as well. The house is dark, only the light is in my room. I put my iPad down,
I open my roomdoor, I need to hide! In the attic maybe? I look on my right, where the stairs are. I hear running footsteps, I gasp when i see the man running up the stairs. I quickly close my roomdoor. I hear the footsteps coming to the door, he starts kicking the door in. I quickly hide under my bed, I left the light on!! The door gets kicked in, I stay silent. He saw me i think, I'm not sure. I have nothing to protect myself with, I'm screwed if he finds me. I don't know what this person will do... I start shaking, I hear footsteps coming to my bed. I hear him grabbing something from my desk. I accidentally kick something, it makes a noise! Oh god! The person crouches beside my bed, please don't see me. His head peeks under my bed, he grabs my arm. -NO, GO AWAY!- I shout, He growls and pulls me from under the bed. He's strong! I look at his mask.

This looks like something from a freaking horror game, I whine, he holds me down to the floor. I hear his heavy breathing coming from the mask, he moves his hands over to my neck, he squeezes my neck tight, I gasp a little. I try to kick him, but that doesn't work. Tears appear in my eyes, I manage to somehow pull his mask off. I do not recognize this person, I can feel my face turning red. I try to pull his hair, he has quite long hair in a bun, then suddenly i hear police sirens. He looks up at my window, it's open and its also where blue and red lights are coming from. He let's my throat go, I gasp loudly. I see him climbing out of the window after grabbing his mask from the floor.
((20 minutes later))
Calum's POV
I hop back in my car, I put the mc Donald's bag on the seat next to me. My phone rings, I awnser it, it's Dawn. -yes? I'm on my way home now with your food- I say. -dad, something happened- Dawn says, her voice... is she crying? -what's going on?- I ask her, she explains everything. -the police just left i told them that id be okay and call you- she says, her voice was cracking a few times. -dad is coming home okay? I'm gonna hang up now im gonna drive- I say, if i freak out then i might crash that is why i sound so calm. -okey, I love you- she says. -I love you too darling- I say and hang up.
Dawn's POV
He hangs up, I hug my knees.. I'm in the livingroom sitting on the couch, the cops put wood to the window to block it. They cleaned up the glass for me as well.
After a while i hear the front door opening, my lips start shaking. Dad enters the livingroom holding a mc Donald's bag. He rushes over to me. He sits down next to me, I start crying. He pulls me in a hug after he put the bag down. -whoever did this is gonna pay for this, describe him to me- I explain to him all that happened in detail. He looks at the bruises on my neck,-eat your food darling, I'm gonna grab some ice- he says, I nod, he gets up and leaves to the kitchen. I grab the bag, I first eat the mc chicken (: Dad comes back with a ice pack, he gently presses it on my neck. -I know that this is a weird question because I'm twelve but can i please sleep with you for the night?- I ask. -that's not weird after what you've been through, ofcourse- he says, I smile a little. After I finished my mc flurry and mc chicken me and dad head to bed after a while. I walk out of my bathroom, I just got done brushing my teeth. I quickly enter dad's room. -come- he says, I turn the light off and I join dad. He wraps his arm around me. -that mask is gonna give me nightmares- I whisper. -don't worry dad is here no more nightmares- he says, I smile. -did you tell the police the same you told me?- he asks. -I did- I say -you are such a brave girl, just like your mother- he says I cuddle to his chest, I'm still so scared. -think about mom yeah?- he says. With a smile on my face i fall asleep hugging one of my favorite people on the planet.
