Chapter 10: Different

I woke up with no one beside me. As expected, I knew he won't stay longer nor sleep with me. Well, that's better cause if he tried to, it would be the most embarrassing thing ever!

I sat, stretching both of my hands while yawning. Tumayo ako at dumiretso sa kusina para magkape.

In all my daily routines, drinking coffee is the first thing I want to prioritize. I love it, it gives me energy that lasts for a day!

Emarson wasn't here. He left a note in the kitchen saying he was doing something and will be back in afternoon. Ilang araw na niya itong ginagawa, hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinagkakaabalahan niya pero hinayaan ko nalang.

I should have always remember, I am just a stranger to them. Hindi sa lahat ng bagay na ginagawa nila o bagay na meron sila ay dapat kong alamin. We have to respect each other's privacy.

"Trick me once, trick me twice don't you know that cash ain't the only price?~"

I sang together with the song I played entitled 'Karma' by Taylor Swift. It was such a nice song that talks about the exchange after commiting a inhumane sins.

Killing a person is a deadly sin but it wasn't the only sin that is deadly. Words, some crimes started with words and it can be considered as a deadly one. We are free for saying whatever the words we wanted to say but using our mean words to manipulate one's life is a different story.

I must say, books ain't the only thing where secrets and stories live, some was found in a song. Sometimes we just have to understand the deep message of a song so we can understand it better.

Habang kumakanta ay nakaramdam ako ng gutom kaya minabuti ko nalang na kumain. Emarson already prepared breakfast for us just like what he always did.

After I eat, I washed the dishes so does my body. I already felt the boredom that's why I let myself stay in a bathroom until sated. Halos isang oras din ako doon bago lumabas.

Paglabas ko ay naabutan kong may taong nanonood ng tv sa Sala. It wasn't Dark, not even Emarson. Nilapitan ko ito at napagtanto kung sino ito.

"Gab?"

He turned his head to see me.

"Hi Jean!" he greeted with a wide smile.

"What are you doing here?"

I sat beside him at the white chiffon couch, fixing the towel in my hair. He smiled and move a little to give me more space so I could sit properly. I sniffed, he smells so good.

"I was about to visit my friend"

He smiled. Pinatong niya ang kanan niyang niyang kamay sa may likuran ng upuan saka inii-scroll ang mga channel sa tv.

"Ah si Wayne, tulog pa yun—"

"No not him."

"Pero wala din naman dito si Emarson, he's doing something"

"Not even him..."

I sigh. He said he was about to visit his friend but when I mentioned the Lorenzo boys, he said they weren't. Ewan ko nalang sa lalaking ito eh tatlo lang naman kami dito.

"Eh sino?"

Kumuha ako ng chips na nakalagay sa may center table, this was the chip from the cabinet in the kitchen. I just can't believe this guy, hindi siya nakatira dito pero kung makapuwesto at makakain ay parang siya na ang nagmamay-ari nito.

"Guess"

I swallowed.

He was smirking, giving me clue for pointing who it really was. Well, I guess I knew it. Tatlo lang kami dito at imposible namang aswang ang binibisita niya.
