Michael's POV
I sighed as I tried to tie the tie to go along with the suit, but it also matched Phoebe's dress.
She was still freaked out about what had happened the night before and she stayed the night, but then she went with the rest of the girls, because since she had an empty house, she offered that they could all get ready at her house.
So Calum, Luke and Ashton were round with me, getting ready as well.
I looked in my reflection one more time in my bedroom mirror, before sighing, walking out and turning my lights off.
"Guys! Are you all ready!" I yelled, running down the stairs, adjusting my tie, which was already starting to choke me.
"Yeah!" Luke yelled from the living room and I walked in to see them all in suits.
"I'm not wearing the top button in." Calum said, taking it out from his shirt and sighing in relief when it was open, "I don't care what Annie says." He said and Ashton laughed.
"Well you may make sure you can hide it." He said and we were interrupted by a knock on the door and I walked out of the living room and opened it, to reveal the girls.
"Hi!" They said, walking past me, to go to the living room, all of them looking really pretty in their dresses and I turned and saw Phoebe.
My breath caught in my throat as I stared at her.
Her dress went to just below her knee, pulled in at the waist and ruffled out a bit. She had pulled her hair half up, the other half lying straight on her shoulders. She looked at me and smiled, biting her bottom lip.
Fuck, she was gorgeous.
"You look... beautiful." I said, quietly and she looked at the ground, her cheeks reddening and she looked up.
"You don't scrub up to badly yourself." She laughed and she touched the fabric of the suit.
"It's lovely." She said and I cleared my throat, taking something from my pocket and holding it out in front of her.
"Oh, Michael, it's beautiful." She said, looking at the small silver bracelet that I had also bought when the boys and I went shopping for suits.
"Well, proms are about corsages and flowers, and since I didn't go to my prom, and since this is my first formal event with someone," I said, pausing to smile at her, "I just wanted to make it special." I finished, clipping the bracelet around her wrist. She stood on her tiptoes and she kissed my cheek and I smiled, and she took my hand in hers.
"How are you after last night?" I asked her quietly, so the others wouldn't hear. I didn't tell them about it, because I didn't know if Phoebe wanted them to know.
"I'm okay, I guess?" She said and she sighed.
"I'm still scared... thank you for letting me stay here last night." She said and I shrugged.
"Don't mention it, it was nothing." I said and she smiled, resting her head against my chest and I wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
When the police came here last night, they said they couldn't find anybody at her house and they told us if anything else happened again, to phone them and they would try to work something out.
"Are we going?" Luke said, coming out of the living room, holding Grace's hand.
"Yeah." I said, checking the time on my phone. We should be going now incase we would be late.
