Michael's POV
"Check the cars!" I yelled to Calum as soon as we entered the garage. There was a car that Phoebe had tried to escape in, but with its broken drivers window, it didn't fill me with much safety.
Calum and I spilt in different directions, navigating our way through all the cars that were parked inside. The dim ceiling lights continued to flicker as I past car after car, their tyres slashed, and I let out a sigh.
"Any luck?" I called to Calum.
"No, there's one with a broken window though, tyres seem good." He called back and I walked over. It would have to do.
"We'll take it then," I said, opening the car door, and searching for the car keys. I opened the sun visor, and saw none in there, looked down and saw them at the accelerator pedal.
"That was extremely easy." I said, and my heart dropped when I heard multiple gun shots going off in the house.
"Shit," Calum said, and I shook my head.
"Hey, this is going to work," I said, and Calum pressed his lips together in a thin line. He was extremely pale now, and I noticed that he had started to shiver.
"You cold, man?" I asked and he opened his eyes, and quickly rubbed them.
"I'm fine." He stated, and I raised an eyebrow. He sighed and I saw tears started to pool in the bottom of his eyes.
"There's no feeling at all in my arm, Michael. I'm extremely light headed, and I all I want to do is sleep. I'm probably too slow to outrun anybody... if this doesn't get us out of here, and we have to run again.... leave me, and I need you to force Annie to go with you."
I stared back at him, feeling my heart start to race.
"Come on, Calum -" I started to say, but he cut me off.
"No, Mikey, I just need you to promise me that. I'm not going to be the reason any of you die." He said, and I didn't get to reply to him, because the door of the garage burst open and Phoebe rushed in, followed by Luke, Ashton and Annie.
"Thank God." I breathed out, and Phoebe rushed over to me, jumping into my arms. I squeezed her back tightly, and then looked to the others, remembering where we were.
"Go." I said, and I pushed Phoebe round to the passenger door. I jumped into the drivers seat, and caught a glance as Luke, Ashton, Annie and Calum squeezed into the back. My shaking hands pushed the keys into the ignition, and the engine roared to life in the first try.
I laughed due to disbelief, and then looked at the metal shutter in front of us.
"Back up. Hit it with enough force, it should break." Luke said from the back seat, and I nodded, putting the car into reverse.
"Hold on, guys," I said, backing the car up, and quickly putting the car into drive. I glanced to Phoebe who was gripping the door handle tightly, and I gritted my teeth, pressing down on the accelerator and we hit the door, but it didn't cave in. I backed the car up, and tried again, and this time we flew straight through the door.
My airbag flew out and for a minute, I was in a panic, as I couldn't see where I was driving us. Luke reached forward and burst the airbag with the knife we had, and I could see a view of the estate in front of us.
"Is everyone okay?" I yelled, and got a few mumbled yes' as a response. I spun the wheel, as we turned a corner, and drove past the first of the manor. My hands were sweating as I turned the car down the driveway, and I heard Ashton laugh from the back of the car.
