I was already up and getting ready since my appointment was at 8:30 and it's all the way in Brooklyn I grabbed my phone calling Kay.
"Hello" Kay's raspy voice answered the phone "hey did you forget my appointment" I grabbed my car keys "oh shit, nah I ain't forget I'm on my way" I chuckled knowing he's lying.
"Okay see you soon" I hung up grabbing a hoodie and my car key's.
"Hello" I stopped at a red light "yea hey journey where's the doctor's office at again" my mom asked "I'll send you the location I'm driving right now" i said "okay see you soon" my mom hung up.
Me and my mom sat in the waiting room it was now 7:56 and still no sign of Kay I was on my phone when Kay sat down next to me he looked mad "you alright" I looked over at him "I'm chillin journey" Kay glanced at me I shrugged nodding.
My name shortly got called "I'll let you and your báby father go in the back I'll be out here" my mom kissed my forehead and me and kay left.
"So how's everything is this dad" the doctor smiled "yes and I'm fine" I sat on the table "so your here for the check up" he asked.
"Yup"
"Okay just lay back and we can get started" the doctor instructed he soon put the cold jelly on my stomach moving it around "the baby looks to be healthy and active" I smiled looking at the little black and gray bean.
"Your around two months now" he moved the stick around "would you like to hear the heart beat" the man looked at me while I glanced at Kay who nodded his head "yea"
I smiled hearing the loud heart pounding fill the room.
"Yup and I got to hear the heart beat" I showed imani the sonogram pictures "it's so tiny" imani looked closer to the pictures
"Yea, it's kinda shocking" I grabbed the pictures putting them in my mirror.
"So did Kay tell you he's inna relationship"
"Whatchu mean ʀᴇʟᴀᴛɪᴏɴsʜɪᴘ" I looked back at her "so I'm guessing he didn't tell you" imani bit her lip. "Uhm duh what iam gonna do, I'm pregnant by a ᴛᴀᴋᴇɴ man" I ran a hand down my face.
"Just call him and uhm see" I looked at imani before grabbing my phone I went to his contact the phone rung and someone soon answered "hello" a ꜰᴇᴍᴀʟᴇ voice said.
"Who's this" I raised my brows putting the phone on speaker for imani to hear "same thing i could be asking ʏᴏᴜ" the girl replied.
"You his ɢɪʀʟ?" She hummed "mhm, and I really don't appreciate you callin' my man" she huffed "I'm not finna go back and forth with you where's ᴋᴇᴠɪɴ" i bit my lip she laughed.
"He's sleeping I just put him to sleep if you know what I ᴍᴇᴀɴ" I hung up the phone.
"What the fuck" imani mumbled "wait I think that's Kay ex ᴄʜɪɴᴀ" of course it's a bitch named china "oh my god what iam finna do" i complained.
"I mean, it's never to late to snip snip" imani said making me laugh "bitch, no the baby has nothing to do with this" I relaxed from laughing.
"True but I gotta get going, call me if anything" imani kisses my forehead grabbing her things and she left.
My door bell rang I glanced from my phone getting up I looked through the glass door and it was Kevin "whatchu doing here" I opened the door.
"Whatchu mean, I just came ta check on you" Kay chuckled "Kevin, you gotta whole ɢɪʀʟꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅ and ain't think to tell me" he mugged me.
"How the fuck you find out" he raised his brows I scoffed "so you don't care, she's answering my phone calls and imani told me" I shook my head.
"I knew this shit wasn't finna work. That's why I said I can do this shit myself" I said "whatchu mean" Kay frowned "nun I think you should just go back home" Kay shook his head no.
"I told my moms you pregnant" I shrugged my shoulders "what's that supposed to mean" I shrugged my brows "she wanna ᴍᴇᴇᴛ you" my stomach dropped I ain't wanna meet his mama.
What if she mean, or if she don't like me "so, she wanna see you this Friday since she don't work" Kay snapped me outta my thoughts.
"Yea sure, I'll let you know" I looked at him he shook his head "aight call me if you need me"
"I will later" I closed the door locking it I ran upstairs calling imani "hey I just got home Wassup" she smiled in the camera "so Kevin told him mama is pregnant and she wanna meet me" imani laughed.
"And I'm scared imani this ain't funny what if she don't like me" I huffed "girl his mama hella nice I meet her before, don't worry" I rolled my eyes.
"Girl that's different you his friend I'm his baby mama" she shrugged "true, but I think she will like you your a nice girl journey" I smirked.
"I mean that is true, and she wanna meet me Friday" imani smirked "great then I'll help you pick an outfit" i nodded "not nun crazy I heard he has a younger sister and a older one" imani nodded.
"Yup Brooke the younger one is so sweet I ain't really be around the older one so I don't know" imani shrugged Damn I gotta deal with an older sister to.
"Alright I'll call you later I'm tired" I laughed.
"Alright bye love you"
