One-Two Millennia Isn't Very Different than Before

Chapter 3: White Dragon Village

Jessica's POV

For those who don't know, I'm known all over Kouka Kingdom. I visit anywhere and everywhere helping people through hardships. I'm a priestess, it's my job.

But, ya see, I play a bigger role, so I travel mainly to see the dragons of legend. That leads me to my current destination, Hakuryuu Village. I've been here a few times, but was always chased out because I was an 'outsider'.

My most important job is to give guidance to the dragons to set them along the right direction. Hence the reason for my occupation of this village.

But, back to being an outsider. Outsiders are not extremely welcomed. So seeing as this is the first time I walked into the village and asked to see Hakuryuu, I'm currently tied to a wooden post.

"This isn't really nice, people. I was just wanting to offer my wisdom~."

Okay, I'll admit that I seem childish- "You are too young to know anything wise." -and look young- "Who knows what she would do with Hakuryuu-sama?" -and normally wouldn't pass for a wise priestess, Ah who am I kidding? I really don't look or act the part, gets too boring.

"Hakuryuu-sama!" I look up to see a young man, looks a little older than Hak-san, with white hair, blue eyes, and wearing a white and blue robe. His dragon feature, his hand, obvious to those around us.

And he speaks, "What are you doing here? You're trespassing."

"Maa, maa, if you were listening, I came to give you guidance," I said giving off a childish vibe.

"Ha?! You-?"

I cut him off in an extremely serious voice, "Your master will come soon. The one with fiery red hair and kind violet eyes will travel to obtain the power of the four dragons." But of course I have a small attention span, so I ruined the moment, "So please let me go, ne~."

Just about everyone anime fell, "Can't you just be normal?!"

I gave the hakuryuu a deadpan look, "Normal is boring."
