Jessica's POV
After our festivities, we regrouped and headed for Ik-su's place. We had to figure out what we wanted to do, where we wanted to go, and the best place to rest and figure all this out was Ik-su's.
I heard many things about their travels while I entertained the king. Yona was especially happy when she got to tell the story of 'The Dark Dragon and the Happy Hungry Bunch'.
While I laughed at the name, she told me of their failed attempts at being bandits.
She also told me how she wanted to pursue swordsmanship. Although I could see where she was coming from, I understood why Hak told her no. He, like all of us, cared very much for Yona, and wanted to avoid putting her into dangerous situations at all costs.
The part I could see from her point of view was the part about wanting to help our comrades disregarding any danger, "You may think it's bad now, but don't worry you'll understand in due time."
"You're talking in riddles again, Jess–Miss Jessica."
She tried to bow in apologize, but I stopped her, "Call me whatever you want land you don't have to use 'Miss'."
She blushed before nodding, "Yes, Jessie."
I threw my arms around here and said, "Kawaii~"
"Stop it!" Yona said trying to get out of my grip. I laughed before letting her go and dropping back to hang with Zeno.
Yona's POV
I smiled as Jessie left me to walk with Zeno. Not long after she dropped back, Jae-ha and Hak dropped in on either side of me, "Hello, Hak, Jae-ha."
"Hime-san," Hak started, glancing behind us. He then nodded to Jae-ha leaving me confused.
Jae-ha, on the other hand, was not confused and quickly asked, "Do you think they're going out, Yona-dear?"
"Eh?" I asked looking between the two. "Jessie and Zeno?" Both Hak and Jae-ha nodded. "I don't think so, but I think that's because they probably haven't admitted their feelings to one another."
"Like Hak a–" Jae-ha hit the floor hard after being hit by Hak.
"Hak," I said annoyed.
We heard two sets of footsteps coming towards us, "Is everything alright?"
Jessica's POV
Zeno and I had watched Jae-ha get hit and both made a mental decision to check on them. Zeno ran over to Jae-ha specifically to poke him as I addressed the other two, "Is everything alright?"
"Jessie!" I jumped as Yona shouted at me.
I looked between the two, "Yes?" I let out a little squeak as both took ahold of my arms (although Hak was really the only one moving me (sorry, Yona)) and led me away from the injured Ryokuryuu and my Oryuu friend.
After a stare down between Hak and I, Yona spoke, "Are you and Zeno going out?"
I sweat dropped, "Quite blunt there, ne Yona?" She blushed at my words but didn't back down, "No. We're not going out."
She kinda deflated, "Boo~"
Hak looked at me, "Are you sure?"
"I'm completely positive," I said giving the most blank look I could. Just as he was about to open his mouth again I cut him off and whispered, "He's had forever to ask, and I've waited. It'll be his fault if he doesn't act."
Hak stared at me, "That's some way of thinking, Jessica."
"You may want to apply it to your love life as well," His eye twitched. I gave off a small laugh, "Don't lose her, ne?" I turned back to the road and walked up to Yoon and Shin-ah.
