Jessica's POV

On our way to Ik-su's, we decided to stop in a nearby village for supplies. I was currently following Yona around with Yoon and Zeno. We were in the jewelry section of the market because something caught her eye.

"Find anything you're interested in? Maybe something for the pretty ladies?" Yona and I blushed at the woman's compliment.

I may or may not get embarrassed from praise, I try to stay modest, "Oh no, no! We're just looking!"

"You should come to the festival tonight. Certainly a spectacle for travelers," the woman spoke. "Even prettier things for the ladies."

"A-ah," I said. "Thank you, we'll consider it," I steered Yona away from the booth as the boys followed me.

------------

"Ha?! A festival?" Hak was the unfortunate soul who would decide whether we went or not. All of the others were excited, but knowing their tendency to run off I insisted that Hak had to come to accompany Yona. That lead to everyone, except myself, pleading with Hak.

Yona finally mustered up enough courage and went to Hak next, "Hak."

Said man looked over, "What is it Hime-sama?"

"Will you accompany us to the festival?" I stood there and watched the amusing scene. Yona had Hak wrapped around her finger.

A sigh of defeat escaped the man, "It can't be helped."

------------
Yona and I wore beautiful kimonos given to us by the jewelry seller. Mine was purple and Yona's was red. The Guys had been given yukatas of their dragon color. As for Yoon, he wore a green and blue striped yukata. Hak had a black yukata.

As I expected, most of the guys split. Jae-ha went to flirt with the women. Kija bolted after running into many people with freaky masks.Yoon stuck with Shin-ah who seemed to enjoy the change and got to wear his mask.

I was also right in assuming Zeno would drag me away from everyone, "Zeno! Hold on! Slow down!"

-First stop: Mask shop

To be honest, I just kind of went with the flow. I had no idea why Zeno wanted to be here, but why not?

I was left alone for a few minutes and then felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, half expecting someone trying to get a mask near me, and yelped at the sight of my blonde friend in a dark dragon mask.

"Scare ya, Jess-chan?" Cheeky little blonde! It was now war, and I took a mask off from the shelf and placed it to my face. It was a clear mask with too much makeup and a creepy smile.

Zeno stopped laughing and gave off a look of fear, "Whose scared, ne, Zeno?"

He pouted. Soon after we kept on trying to get the upper hand on each other which, ultimately, got us kicked out of the stall. Despite that, we were laughing a whole lot.

I was then dragged up a hill and tackled to the ground, although it didn't seem intentional. After throwing Zeno off me and getting to a sitting up position, I was presented with a small gift bag, "Eh?"

"Zeno bought it for Jess-chan! Open it! Open it!" The hyper blonde exclaimed as he bounced in place.

I laughed at his antics, "Alright, alright!" I took the small bag and opened it up to reveal a hairpin decorated with a golden dragon, "It's beautiful, Zeno!"

"Hehe, Zeno's glad Jess-chan likes it," he said moving behind me to pin back my long purple locks.

"Ne, remember the first time we went to a festival?" I asked with a reminiscing glance. "Guen said I should pin back my hair and after minutes of failing, you took the pin and pinned back my hair for me, just like what you're doing now."

"Zeno remembers that," his voice was soft with a hint of sadness. "Good times."

"We'll have good times with this group as well. It'll be fun," I said softly leaning against Zeno.

"I hope so," Zeno muttered, though it seemed he went unheard as I watched the fireworks light up the sky.
