Jessica's POV

Apparently, while I was asleep, the rest of the group—minus Zeno, because, you know, he was with me—ended up finding Jae-ha.

I know this because I was woken up by his screaming. I don't know if the others forgot I was asleep in the room, but being awoken by screaming near my face resulted in me jumping and accidentally hitting the wall, "Ite-te-te-te. . ."

I looked over to the writhing green dragon. I whispered softly, "Oh, Jae-ha. . . What in the world happened to you?"

While I was still slightly under the weather, I was in much better shape than before. Other than my—er— wake-up call.

So, I attempted to do what I could for Jae-ha. This didn't get anywhere until I had pinned him down and forced a sleeping tonic down his throat, hoping to calm him down.

Why did I have sleeping tonic? C'mon, really? 2000 years of living leaves you with some good memories, but whether they were good or bad, they still haunt me and make it hard to sleep.

So, yeah, sleeping tonic.

It seemed to work for Jae-ha too. The pain was most likely a side-effect of a drug he was forced to take. Seems like something he would get himself into.

Forcing myself up, I realized I wasn't as cured as I thought, with dizziness clouding my senses. It was exhausting getting Jae-ha to take that tonic.

Clinging onto the wall for support I made my way over to the door. Hak and the others were outside, and I think he was trying to convince Yoon and Yona to stay out of the room.

I opened the door, much to the surprise of those outside who seemed to forget about my presence in the room with Jae-ha.

"I have a complaint," I said leaning against the door frame. While I was waiting for the world to stop spinning, I finished my thought, "The wake-up call I was given, though effective, was not pleasant in the slightest. My head hurts, but he's asleep now."

~~~~~~
I was pretty ticked right now. Once again, they left me in the hotel room. They thought they could fool me with the 'looking after Jae-ha' excuse.
Nope.
Jae-ha was asleep—he tried to escape earlier, but since Shin-ah stayed back with me, we were able to pin down  Jae-ha—by way of sleeping tonic.
Shin-ah and I sat across from each other, tossing a makeshift ball back and forth.
The air around us was awkward, it seemed as though the silent dragon wanted to ask me something, but was holding back.
I caught the ball and gave a sigh, "What is it, Shin-ah?"
I tossed the ball to him and he caught it before answering, "Ah-nee's . . . been through . . . a lot?"
"You could say that," I whispered, probably getting a far-off look in my eyes. The ball hit my face lightly, snapping me out of my thoughts, "I'm getting better though. As long as I don't have to tackle Jae-ha anymore, I should be fine."
A nod came from the silent teen.
Groaning came from the–ah, forced–sleeping green dragon. I let out a defeated sigh, "I just jinxed myself, didn't I?"
~~~~~~

Long story short: Shin-ah and I had been literally dragged from the hotel room trying to get the upper hand on the drugged-up Jae-ha, and that did not work. At all.

Jae-ha is a lot stronger than I presumed he'd be. I'm also sick—not that that matters.

I walked over to Yoon to ask for a pain reliever for my head—since Jae-ha literally slammed me into basically anything he thought would make me let go. . . Yeah, that didn't happen either.

Jar-ha and Yona were arguing about something—probably the fact that she herself was investigating and not leaving the job to the guys.

We all know who won that fight.

.

.

.

Yona did.
