Jessica's POV
The castle guy and I stared at one another until I broke the silence, "Where do I know you from?"
"So we have met before!"
I nodded, "I believe so."
"Ahem," a pretty boy interrupted, "Hak?"
Castle guy, er Hak, and I turned and a hooded girl gasped, "Miss Jessica?"
"Ah! Hello, Yo-mmph!" The Hakuryuu covered my mouth with his normal hand, "Mph! Mmmph!"
"Ah, Kija! It's okay! Miss Jessica is a friend!" Yona exclaimed.
Said man finally released me, "Sorry."
"You don't sound sorry, Shiro-san," I muttered under my breath.
The pretty boy sighed, "Kija, you can continue looking."
Kija saluted, "Roger!"
"Sooooooooo-" I began.
"I'm Yoon," the pretty boy stated, "and this is Hak. I see you already know Yona."
"Ahahah, yes," I say sheepishly. "I'm Jessica, although you're welcome to call me either Jessie or Jess as well."
It was quite awkward for a time after that. Although I had a sickening feeling that this wouldn't be the only awkward silence for a while.
For Yona though, it was an opportunity for her to engage in a conversation with me, "So, Miss Jessica, where have you traveled since leaving the palace?"
"Ahh," I sweat drop at her blunt conversation starter, "I've actually visited some old friends. Went to see the dragons, actually."
The group's attention was on me now as Yona's eyes sparkled, "Oohh! Do you know where Ryokuryuu is then?"
"A general location? Sure he's somewhere around Awa. I was with him earlier, but I've seemed to lose him again." All of this I say without a filter, so I tell a little more than currently needed.
"So, can you help-" CRASH!
All of us turn to see Kija carrying Jae-ha in a round pot. Of course I only know Jae-ha's name, but whatever. Kija sees us and begins to yell, "Look, Hime-san! I found Ryo-" Another crash sounds before Kija could finish.
Jae-ha was quick and could easily get away, but he couldn't leave me again. So, he had to dash towards me, and Yona stepped in front, "Hello. You must be Ryokuryuu? Can you tell me your name?"
As she placed her hand on Jae-ha's forehead, the said man paled a bit more, "J-Jae-ha." He must be feeling the oath from his blood and it is weakening his ability to fight his fate.
