Chapter 16: Preist and Preistess

Jessica's POV

We came closer to Ik-su's place, and everyone tried to inquire about my past self, "I'm not telling you."

"But Jessica-san," whined Kija.

"Nope," I said looking away and walking evenly with Zeno.

Said guy was still holding onto my neck in an attempt at hugging me while walking, "Jess-chan!"

"Hm?"

"Are we close, yet?"

Kija cut in, "Shouldn't you ask Yoon? Since he lived here."

Zeno nodded and I tried to avoid his head, "Normally, but Jess-chan can sense strong spiritual power."

Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to annoy Jae-ha, I simply added, "Jae-ha can as well."

"Eh?" Everyone turned to me.

"When I was going around Awa, I got in a tight situation and expelled some spiritual power in attempt to reach someone."

Yona now spoke up, "And that was Jae-ha?"

"Precisely," I said. Then, as an afterthought, I added, "We are close. Your priest is spiritually strong, Yoon."

"Whatever you say, Jessica," Yoon said. He seemed to appreciate my comment though.

"Seems nice as well," Yoon turned slightly red. "Especially since he took you in and taught you," redder and redder Yoon, "and–"

"That's enough, Jessica!" I giggled at his annoyance.

"Yep," Zeno said catching everyone's attention, "way different than before! You've grown out of your shell, Jess-chan!"

I blinked, "So it would seem. Although, you haven't really changed at all."

"Hahahaha! Of course!"

3rd person POV

In the background of their conversation, the other members of the group carried on a conversation of their own, "Do they like each other?"

"It would be possible, Kija." Yoon said finally recovering from the embarrassment he just went through, "Especially if we take into account that they probably were each other's only friend, and they were always around each other."

"They're cute!" Yona exclaimed.

Jae-ha nodded, "If only Zeno wasn't so blind. Poor Jessie-dear."

Hak glanced over to the older man, "Is it really just Zeno though? Jessica isn't making a move either."

The green dragon smirked, "Are you really one to talk, Hak?"

"Shut up," Hak said hitting the older over the head with his spear.

Jessica's POV

Zeno and I were cut off by Hak's spear hitting Jae-ha over the head. I blinked a few times before going over to Hak and giving him a high five, "You don't know how long I wanted to do that."

Hak smirked, "Just doing what I do best."
