Jessica's POV
It was dark. When we landed, we were immediately picked up and more or less shoved forward into a narrow hallway, and I was in front.
We soon came up to a door. Once opened, all three of us were shoved into the room. We didn't look up until the door closed. Although the sight we received was to be expected, it shocked us to see how many women they had gotten.
There were multiple women, and all looked hopeless. There was a silence between all of us, no one knowing what to say.
Yoon, Yona, and I shared a look and stayed quiet. We were supposed to pass for helpless. So, we migrated over to the wall and stayed there in our own little group.
----------
We laid there for a while, trying to sleep seeing how we were bored out of our minds. Other groups talked among themselves, but we stayed quiet. I seen Yona touch her ankle and wince, but before I could do anything, the door was slammed open.
"Why look at this group of fine women! I bet we'll get loads of money for them," an older man, who I assumed to be Kumuji, said with a sickening smirk.
We stayed quiet, unaware what would happen otherwise. Then, he noticed Yona, "Quite the beauty here, and even rarer with the bright red hair. I once saw red hair like yours, at Hiryuu castle. It was princess Yona. Tell me, are you princess Yona?"
Yoon and I were frozen even as Yona answered, "I am but a merchant's daughter, but if you want I will call myself princess Yona." She finished her act by bowing.
"Princess Yona wouldn't bow her head so shamelessly," he then threw her on the ground. Yoon soon grabbed her and brought her over to him while Kumuji surveyed the rest of us, "Oh? What do we have here?" He came over to me, "I've never seen such purple hair. You'll sell great, in fact you're coming with me."
He soon grabbed my arm and tried to pull me away, while I tried to pull away. Unfortunately, he was successful, and the last I saw of my companions was their horrified faces. Trying to be brave, I give a small smile. Then, the door closes.
Yoon's POV
Jessica was pulled out the door by Kumuji, and all I could do was hold a horrified Yona. She tried to smile to cheer us up, but it only made me worry more. I promised I'd try to find a way to keep us from being separated, but all I could do was hold Yona.
When the door closed, we were given looks of sympathy. Everyone knew the three of us were close, "She's a goner."
I glared up at the girl, she was the ray of light that was stuck here for over two weeks and had no hope left, "No."
Yona spoke up, "Miss Jessica is strong, she'll get out and get help."
"There's no one coming."
"If someone held out their hand, would you take it?" Yona was sad, but believed wholeheartedly in Jessie, so I would to. But I was also going to keep my promise to Jessie and protect Yona.
Jessica's POV
After I was dragged through the hallway, I was dragged outside. It was a big mistake on Kumuji's part. I was soon out of his grasp and I ran. I couldn't go back, but I'd go to Gi-gan. There was nothing I could do otherwise.
