Chapter 6: Pirates

Jessica's POV

We flew towards a ship off apart from those at the harbor. When Jae-ha said captain, I knew we were going to a ship, but I didn't think we'd be airborne for so long.

Heights weren't anything new to me, but it's been a while since I was airborne for a long time.

"Afraid?" Jae-ha asked teasingly.

In return, I scowled at him, "As long as you don't drop me, we'll both be fine."

"Well, we're here," we quickly descended. As we land, Jae-ha greets those on deck. He then makes his way to an older lady, who I can only assume is Captain Gi-gan.

The two talk for a while, then she makes her way to me, "Jae-ha says you can tell the future."

"Yes, ma'am. That is one thing I am able to do as a priestess." She looked me up and down, my cloak had a rugged look to it, but my clothing underneath was still in good condition.

"Ya sure don't look like a priestess."

I sweat drop at her statement, "Yes, but I assure you, I truly am. Jae-ha wouldn't have assisted me had I not reached out with my spiritual powers."

She turned to see if it was true, and found Jae-ha nodding quickly, "Alright, can you tell me about out group against Yan Kumuji?"

"Of course." I shut my eyes and take a deep breath, "Kumuji will not reign over Awa much longer, but in order to stop his reign, you will need help from the red dragon and its companions."

"Ha?"

"Sorry, but if you want to free Awa soon, you'll have to seek their help," she looked in deep thought.

Finally she met my gaze, "Can you fight?"

"I can."

"Please demonstrate," she gestured to some crew members that stepped forward. I quickly hit any pressure points I could get to. In a span of two minutes, those who attacked were on the ground around me,"Very good. Would you mind helping us out Miss?"

"Not at all, ma'am. I'm Jessica, and I was planning to help."

"Welcome aboard, Jessica! Now, whose up for raining on Kumuji's parade?!" She had the whole ship cheering.
