Hot steam rolled out of the cracked door, slowly making it's way into the room from Mike taking a hot shower while I laid half asleep. It wasn't to much longer, and I let my eyes close, falling asleep like I had wanted. I didn't know why he liked his showers so hot, he had only been in there a second.

****Mike's POV****

The hot water felt so good, burning my skin, but making it feel good at the same time. I washed my hair, then rinsed it, just as the curtain came flying open.

"Jesus...Layla what are you doing?" I ask, covering myself up, and she looked scared.

"My water broke..." She said almost in a whisper, shit. I hurried to get the shampoo out, then threw on some shorts and a shirt before helping her in the car. I made sure to call her parents on the way.

"Dammit pick up" I order to the phone, driving faster than I probably should.

"Hello? Who is this?" Her dad's voice asks, and I could tell I woke him up since it was almost three in the morning.

"Hey, I'm taking Layla to the hospital, her water just broke" I breathe, trying to remain calm myself, but my nerves were all over the place.

"Okay, we're coming" He says, and we hang up, me throwing the phone on the back seat. The hospital wasn't to far away, and she didn't seem in to much pain, so I grabbed her knee.

"You doin okay?" I ask, trying to loook at her and drive at the same time. She had her eyes closed, and grabbed my hand with a deep breath.

"Stop talking" She orders, taking deep breaths. I nodded even though she couldn't see me, and tried taking some myself, trying to calm down. I looked in the rear view mirror, checking on Alana who was sleeping in her car seat. We got to the hospital, and I took her in, ready for this moment.

****Layla's Mom's POV****

We sat in the waiting room...well...waiting for the time to see our two little grand babies, and waiting this long was hell, especially at three in the morning. Doors opened and closed to rooms, none of them being Mike walking out, so we waited longer and longer until my eyes were closing. Michael gave us Alana to watch, and it wasn't even really baby sitting since she was sleeping too, and Ryan held her next to me. My eyes looked up as a door opened slowly, and Mike walked out with a smile, coming over to us.

"You guys ready?" He asks with a large smile, and I nod eagerly, getting up and following him in the room. We walked in quietly, finding her on the bed with a smile and her two babies in each arm. They were both sleeping, and she looked like she wanted to after about two hours of being in labor.

"Hey..." She says softly, and Michael walks to her, taking one of the twins from her. It was a little girl, still pink and blotchy, and he grabbed her tiny hand, holding it in his. We took a seat, and he let us see her, putting her in my arms carefully. He had matured so much, from being a bad boy, a little punk, to a fine young man who did things right. Layla had been through all kinds of changes, but this moment she was smiling big.

"Who's this?" Ryan says next to me, and Michael looks to Layla with a smile, before speaking.

"Ryan.....her names Ryan" He says, taking a seat next to the bed. He smiles, and let's out a chuckle.

"Perfect" He says, and they both nod.

"This is Jimmy" Layla speaks up, her voice happy and relieved. She holds him and shows him off, smiling. We spent most of the morning there, and let them leave to take care of their new ones.

****Layla's POV****

I carried Jimmy in his little carrier as we entered the door, and Mike did the same with Ryan. I always wanted a Ryan with an 'i' but since my dad and Mike's middle name both have them with 'y's', he convinced me. They were both sleeping, and we carried them to the extra room where Duncan had already help me set the cribs up. We placed them both in them, and stepped back, her crossing her arms.

"We did good" I sigh, holding my hand out for a high five, and she gives is to me.

"You know what we can do now right?" She asks, raising her eyebrows, and I let myself smirk.

"What?" I ask smiling, and she loses hers.

"Sleep" She groans, and leaves me standing there as she walks to our room and plops on the bed. She didn't even bother taking her shoes off, and covered herself up, almost immediately falling asleep. I laughed at her, and covered her up before helping her take her shoes off, and kissed the top of her head.
