One of the babies kept crying, and I didn't know which one it was by the sound. I didn't want to get up though, I just wanted to lay there comfortably and watch her sleep. I knew it sounded pretty mean, but the more crying I heard, the more I buried my face into my pillow, eventually giving up and slinging it across the room. I sat up with a sigh, and looked to my left where she lay curled up in a ball sleeping peacefully. I slowly nudged her, and whispered her name.

"Layla.....hey....." I say softly, still nudging her to wake up. She groaned and whined, and turned over on her side, clutching the blankets over her.

"Let me sleeeeeeeep" She whines, and I had to give up, knowing I couldn't make her do anything. I growled, and got up, slumping into the next room and leaning in the doorway as I watched my little boy cry and squirm. I didn't know why I was smiling, but I let myself, and walked over to him, picking him up. I had Alana so that means I had some experience, I mean sure I wasn't an expert on babies or how to take care of them, but I knew the important things. I picked him up, holding him out in front of me, and still watching him cry. I brought him to my chest, holding and swaying him for a bit before finally getting to calm him down, and then another small cry came, one from behind me. They both started squealing and crying, and I felt like jumping back in bed to hide. I groaned, and picked the other one up, and turned around when Alana's voice spoke.

"Daddy play doll?" She asks, and I knew she wasn't very old but she could clearly see I kinda had my hands full. I wish I could pass one of these little guys onto her.

"Not right now Lana" I groan, trying to make the new babies in my arms stop crying.

"Pweaseee?" She asks, tugging and pulling on the leg of my jeans. I ignored her as she kept asking, and lost my temper.

"NOT NOW!!!!!!!" I yell, immediately feeling bad for making another one of my kids cry. Her lip quivered, and tears arose in those big blue eyes, slowly coming out as she cried and sniffled. I couldn't say anything, but groaned, and tried to stop some of the crying. I took the two in my arms out to the couch, trying to make them laugh or something, but I guess I got somewhat success. They stopped crying, only looking at me with wide eyes, and I sighed, crossing my arms. I walked to get a drink, stepping out of their view for a split second and the cries came back. I put my face in my hands, about to give up. I was all by myself, trying to make three kids happy, I can barely make one of them happy, let alone three. I can't wake Layla up again, then she'll be pissed, long with everybody else in the house. The cries only got louder from all of them, and the doorbell rang.

"What now?" I groan, going to it and opening it, seeing Duncan.

"Rough day?" He asks with a laugh, and I let him in.

"You have no idea" I groan, and he looks around, me realizing that the whole floor was a mess with toys from Alana's room. I face palmed, and he laughed. He picked a little bear up that squeaked, and gave me a look.

"What the fuck is this?" He asks with a chuckle. I had to agree, it looked deformed, and he squeaked it, making me hear small giggles. He threw it to the side, and I looked at Ryan and Jimmy who's smiles faded, and eyes getting wide.

"No, don't stop, they like it" I say, letting myself laugh as he picks it back up and squeaks it again. They both break out in giggles, but Alana was sitting in the chair pouting, making me feel a bit bad. I walked over to her, and kneeled down on the floor. Her arms were crossed, and her head was kept down.

"Are you still mad at me?" I ask in a sigh, and she turns away from me.

"Do I see a smile?" I ask, knowing I could make her do exactly that, while Duncan squeaked the bear to make the other two laugh. She started to giggle as I tickled her sides, and squirmed around. I stopped, and she seemed satisfied, making me happy, and I walked over to the couch where Duncan sat on one side of them, sitting next to Ryan.

"Alright, so I see we haven't formally met, I'm Duncan....and you are?" He asks, making her look up at him, trying to figure him out. She reached at his Mohawk he's had for years, always making it a different color, this time red, and he bent down for her, letting her grab at the spikes. She missed his hair, falling over onto his lap, and he helped her up.

"That's Ryan" I say, making him look at me with a smile.

"A girl named Ryan?" He asks with a cocked eyebrow, and I nod.

"Yeah, my middle name, and her dad's name" I say, backing myself up as I pick my little boy up and sit down, placing him on my lap.

"This is Jimmy" I say next, and he laughs, holding up his hand for a high five.

"Nice dude, I think me and him are gonna be buds, from now on he is St. Jimmy, the greatest saint of the saints" He laughs, and I roll my eyes, while he trades me. Me and him hung out for a while until Layla woke up, and he congratulated her, but she looked to tired to really notice or care. She sat down next to me, leaning her head on my shoulder where she dozed on and off. But she came around and eventually stayed awake, playing with Ryan on her lap. Duncan got up while I paid attention to her, and headed for the door with a goodbye and his back turned.

"See ya guys" He chuckles, and Layla sits up.

"Give him back" She laughs, giggling. He turns around, putting his hands on his hips, his shirt obviously bulging out from the little boy buttoned inside his red and black checkered shirt. I started to laugh, and she got up, going over to him, and starting to unbutton it from the bottom, taking her little boy out.

"goodbye Duncan the baby snatcher" She laughs, and he does the same before placing a kiss to her cheek and telling me goodbye. He always kissed Layla on the cheek, and it never really bothered me, but right now....I felt extremely jealous, probably because I didn't even get a stupid peck on the lips yesterday or today. Not even a fucking hug.

"Oh I see, you don't like me anymore huh?" I ask, and she makes a look like she's thinking.

"Hmm....nope" She laughs, and gives me a wink before coming over to me and kissing me quick.

"Thank you" I say satisfied, and she nodded with a roll of her eyes and a sigh.
