Mike was gone most of the time, rather it was band practice, or gigs at Gilman. But the good news is, he's made friends, friends that used to be enemies. As for me, I just pretty much choose not to talk to either one of those pricks, I didn't need them around me, or my kids. The days got lonely, of course they did, but I wasn't alone, no way, I usually had a house full of little kids and Aleigha with her baby girl Emily.

Having Mike gone was like going through some kind of terrible rehab, nobody was happy. Alana threw fits, asking too many questions, and I couldn't get Jimmy to calm down without him. They were all so close to him, and his schedule didn't make things easy time wise. It was always the same, wake up with him here for about an hour, tells us all goodbye, leaves for practice, which I pretty much just call work, comes home for lunch, then leaves until he comes back again around eight, only getting to spend a couple hours with them before they go to bed.

"So, when are you gonna get that new house he promised?" Aleigha asks, making him sound like a bad guy in this situation.

"Hey...he's never broken a promise, just give it time. He works hard, and he's never given me any reason to doubt him" she sighs, and shrugs.

"I guess so" The gravel in the driveway crunched, and I sat straight up, Alana and Jimmy beating me to the window.

"Daddy!!" Alana yells, and I felt myself smile.

"Well, I'm gonna go, I don't wanna take up any of your time" I barely considered what she had to say, I just wanted to see him.  She chuckled, and he opened the door, smiling at Alana who had clung to his leg already.

"Hey babe" He greets like always, picking her up and kissing the top of her head. He looked happy, happier than usual, and he picked both of them up, putting them down on the couch with kisses.

"Miss me?" He asks, finally coming over to me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Always" I reply, hugging him back. He kissed me quick, and my wait for the day was over.

He looks around for a minute, and puts his hands on his hips.

"Where's Ry?" He asks, and I sigh, she had been sick lately.

"She's taking a nap" He could hear it in my voice, and frowned.

"She still not feeling well?" I nod, and he walks to her room, opening the door slowly. I follow him, leaning in the doorway as I listened to her little coughs. Alana and Jimmy followed closely behind, and she climbed onto the bed.

"She sick?" She asks, and Mike shushes her softly, nodding.

"Don't wake her up" Alana nods, and watches her. Jimmy stayed by my side, leaning on my leg. Ry coughed more and more, and he picked her up.

"I think she needs some more medicine" He says, and I nod, going to get it for her. She hated it, I knew she did, but she needed to take it if we wanted her better. I kept trying to put the spoon in her mouth, but she cried, pushing me away, and Mike grabbed it.

"Do it for Daddy?" They lock eyes, and he finally gets her to take it, before putting her back down for a nap. He closed her door, and came back out to sit on the couch, Alana crawling up next to him and eventually falling asleep.

"So...what'd you do today?" He asks, wrapping our arms together, and grabbing my hand.

"Same as I do everyday, take care of them and wait for you to come home" I reply, and he looks like he has mixed emotions.

"What'd you do?" I ask, and he smiles.

"We just finished our first album, tour's coming up in a week" He says, smiling but also being careful with his words.

"Tour? Oh...that's great, I'm proud of you" I smile at him, hiding what I knew was about to come next. I hugged him, and he leaned his chin on my shoulder.

"Yeah, but...tour means I'll be gone for a while...I don't wanna leave you guys, I'm gone enough as it is" I just close my eyes, knowing I'd have to accept the fact.

"How long?" I ask, and he sighs.

"Two...three months" I couldn't help it, and my lip started to quiver, my eyes stinging with tears that fell on his shirt. I took deep breaths, and he brought me closer to him.

"Please don't cry.....I'll be back" He chuckles, and I sniffle some.

"I know, but I miss you...a lot. I miss you when you're here" He smiles at that, and kisses my cheek.

"You know I'll call you everyday, we can video chat, and you can watch me live" I knew all of this already, but talking to him, and him being here were two different things.

"I know, but I'll still miss you" I sigh, he smirks, his blue eyes looking into mine.

"Do you miss me right now?" I let out a small laugh, and just hug him tighter.

"You're and odd boy Mr. Dirnt, very odd" He nods his head, and pulls back.

"But on a different serious note....wanna get married?" He asks, and at the time I couldn't be more proud than to call myself his wife, so I gave him a smile.

"Yes, I wanna get married" He smiles at me, and I close my eyes, cuddling up to him.

"Are you getting sleepy Mrs. Dirnt?" He asks, and I liked it. It kinda had a ring to it.

"Yes Mr. Dirnt, would you carry me to bed?" I ask, and he lets me go.

"After I carry them to bed, yes" I chuckle at that response, and he does just as he said.

"Now I will carry you to bed" I hold my arms out for him, and he picks me up. He carries me into our room, letting me down softly, and leans above me.

"Y'know, I could stay in bed with you" He raises his eyebrows being playful, and I shrug.

"What the hell right?" He smirks, and throws his shirt to the side, finally joining me. Mrs. Dirnt.....I was gonna be Mrs. Dirnt.
