Hello guys!
It's shocking how quickly I'm back with the last and final chapter of this book.
I won't say much, just all the best with reading this chapter.

THEA'S POV:
A year later......
"Mommy, can I put this in my room?" Rose asked as her little feet stomped into her room without even showing the picture frame.
"Yeah, of course, baby" I was putting up family photos in my new living room. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5... Rosey, did you take any of Mommy's pictures?" I tilted halfway to see her running back to me from her room.
"Yeah," she giggled. "I want everyone's picture in my room." she pointed at the frames that were still in bubble wrap.
I chuckled. "Baby, I ordered these just for you so select them and Mommy will put them on the walls, okay?"
"Okay," she attentively sat in my lap and selected her favorite pictures that were with her Nonna, one with Carol and Asher. She was very particular about which one she wanted. I could already see she was becoming more like me. Selective and Smart.
I was eventually able to purchase my new house, which was basically the same house I had lived in before becoming broke. I used the proceeds from the sale of Lake House to pay for it. Since I already felt at home here and this was the house I had always pictured buying, it was the best investment I could have ever made.
Rose and I both got room for us, and she was really excited to have her bed. Although I insisted on putting her in the same old crib, she had, Mom somehow talked me into using my old bed from my childhood house. It was thoughtful and kinda emotional to think that my daughter would sleep in the same bed where once I use to sleep. How sweet!
I started with hanging photos first in Rose's room and my eyes caught a fallen frame on her new study table that she won't use yet. I picked it up and had a big smile feeling giddy about Rose's choice of photo. It was a photo of Emric and me holding Rose from her third birthday party.
Rose turned three a couple of weeks ago and she was making so many friends at the daycare. She already went to her one-day picnic with her daycare friends. They took her to the zoo, and she hadn't shut up talking about ducks since then. She enjoyed them and has been trying to please me to get one so I got her a plastic duck set and promised to get the real one when she turns five so she could take care of it.
"You really are a smart baby, Rose" I pulled her cheeks and she groaned. She doesn't like when anyone pulls her cheeks.
I put it back on her table and as I gathered the bubbled wraps from the living room, I glanced at my freshly painted house, the citrus/turpentine-like paint smell was still there. I like that smell. The sage and jade green combination brought a pleasant view to my eyes.
My white couch went with the wall colors and I also added little diamond chandeliers that brought newness to this place. I hung windchimes at the corner of windows in every room as the sweet dangling is a sign of calmness.
The doorbell rang and Rose immediately ran towards the door. "Wait a minute. I'm coming" she yelled at whoever was outside. She even yells like me. I rushed behind her because she couldn't open the locks yet.
"Nonna! Welcome home!" Rose squeaked and latched onto Mom's leg.
"Hey, sweetie, I missed you" Mom hugged her tight and smothered her with kisses.
