After a shower and a cooked breakfast, Kaden saw to meetings, while Elnora relaxed with a book. Even if away and Masoud was in control, Kaden still needed to know what was going on. Although he didn't miss all the paperwork she was informed.

Elnora spread out on the sofa, nose in the book. Her head resting on the arm of the sofa, feet up on the other end, so engrossed in what she was reading, didn't hear him approach, nor sense hands on each side of her head as he lent over, jumping out of her skin.

"Crap!" Ellie yelped, then laughed, dropping the book onto her chest. "All done?"

"For now," dropping a kiss on her lips as her head tilted back, and then he straightened. "We are heading out to lunch." Her lips parted. "Before you say anything, you cooked breakfast. Dinner last night, and being so patient."

Ellie eased up into a sitting position, hugging the book to her chest. "Do I need to dress up?"

He opened his arms, showing what he was wearing. A casual longer-line caramel jacket with a notch lapel, three-button closure and single back vent over a black polo top with designer black pants.

Yesterday's shop wasn't just for her, also showed him how to dress down.

"That," she waved a hand over him. "Still so sexy and could be seen anywhere."

"Look upon it as our first date," he suggested with a smile, shoving hands into the pants pockets that weren't part of a suit, spreading the jacket.

"A date? An actual date? I didn't know princes dated, sorry King," she corrected at his raised brow.

"Well, this one does. I have a place booked, with scenic water views." That had her standing interest piqued. "Don't bother asking, not saying. It's a surprise."

"Sounds wonderful. How long do I have?"

"I would say as long as you need. However, I booked our table for twelve."

"Of course you did," she rushed off with her book, kissing him in passing.

That made her choice harder, dressing for a date, feeling giddy. Her first proper date, the other had been a ball, joined him for dinner. This was a date, so I had to wear something memorable, also not over the top. Lunch, not dinner. In mid-twenties, so warm enough for a summer dress flicking through her new selection.

More choices than she was used to and time was ticking.

Covering her eyes with a hand, she reached in and removed a dress and peeked out through sprayed fingers, smiling. Perfect.

"Is that how you choose what to wear?"

Gasping, she turned around, holding the dress against her chest. "Yes, when it's far too difficult to choose. Next time, tell me after we leave, it's a date," she squeaked.

"You have five minutes," shaking his head, he walked away smiling, leaving her to dress.

One thing she was good at was getting dressed quickly into a sleeveless A-lined yellow dress, bright and fresh, shorter than most, slipping into sandals and headed out, grabbing her bag on the way and a long silver necklace with three metal tussles from the bedside table that she slipped over her head, easing her hair free.

This time they took the car, and headed across bridges over the Nerang River, her excitement growing, having a sense of where they were heading. Top-of-range restaurant everyone raved about she had never visited.

Excited Ellie turned towards Kaden, wearing his spare sunglasses that were always in the car for her. "Don't tell me it's De-Vito's?"

"Okay, I won't," he smiled at her.
