Ronnie never felt so pissed off as she was now when she should be scared. Being locked away in some dark hole with bars, surrounded by a hard, solid rock surface that was nothing like where they had been staying, didn't help. She wanted to scream and yell that she couldn't be intimidated like her sister.

Is that what he did? Lock Ellie away for a couple of days, break her, and be submissive. Something he didn't have to do. Ellie already was. Yet hadn't been that submissive, had she?

Seemed far too cosy with the man.

Maybe that had been her way of coping. Not that she could blame her. One had to do whatever to survive, not knowing what happened in those three weeks alone with him. Didn't they have harems for their pleasure? Women used for sex? That would be bad enough for an experienced woman but an innocent.

Kidnapped, drugged, kept in a lap of luxury to keep her placid. Yet such things didn't interest Ellie. That was her.

Yes, she did like the good things in life, but it wasn't the end of all to be all of her life.

She'd never marry for wealth.

Ronnie saw it every day in the business world, with people she dealt with, yet wasn't envious of it. Also kept a lifestyle she liked through hard work, and running her business.

Yet Ellie had been sneaking off by herself.

As if she wouldn't find the hidden door.

Sinking onto a hard cold hard stone bench raking her hands through unusually messy hair. She had to calm down. The phone was useless. There was no signal underground. Deep underground, going by how cold it was, rubbing her arms. With no natural light, gave her no idea how much time had passed, removing the phone from inside her bra that had a special slot, blocking any signals for scanning.

It wouldn't be found unless physically searched.

Thankfully, the man who had taken her hadn't, and also wouldn't answer her questions about the whereabouts of Ellie, wishing she hadn't. Then again, she hadn't known this was going to happen.

Once off the level, the guard turned on her armed, taken away at gunpoint, and led her away to hidden staircases and disappeared into a maze of tunnels that looked like nothing of where they had been. Soon led by touch into the dark, and dingy tunnels, the air thick with stale choking air.

The packed suitcase and handbag had also been removed.

Ronnie quickly checked the phone, hiding the light the best she could in the dark to see the time and date, shutting down, perplexed. Over twelve hours had passed. Seven-fifteen p.m.

Thankfully, she had sent a message beforehand to an elite team to extract them before she left. This phone hopefully they could track this since she still had it, yet such a basic phone. She could only hope this Kaden was paranoid, as she thought.

Aren't all these Sheikhs worried about their dirty little secrets coming out? Do anything necessary to keep what was theirs? And all married from their race. People like them usually had a bit on the side. Not they were would be interested in nobodies like them. The ones they got involved with were supermodels and actresses. The rich and famous. The stunning women of the world.

Maybe an innocent was far too tempting.

Then again, he had gone after who he thought was her, not Ellie.

Ellie would have seen it as only a phone with numbers to do with the wedding.

Shaking her head, how he got Ellie to work for him was mind-boggling.
