No one's POV.
It was the morning after Alex's nightmare. Tim and Brian were already awake and ready for the day, but Jay was laying next to Alex in bed. Alex was still asleep but Jay was awake. He didn't want to leave Alex to wake up alone after last night, so he just stayed with him until he was awake.

Once Alex had finally awoken, Jay greeted him with a smile before giving him a kiss on the forehead. Alex still looked a little emotional and Jay knew he'd probably be vulnerable and sensitive for a bit afterwards. Jay didn't mind this though. He knew Alex would get over it soon enough, even if it meant the others would have to watch what they said around him.

Alex immediately hugged Jay when he saw him. He needed some form of affection to tell himself it was fine. Jay happily gave Alex what he needed, wanting to make him feel loved and cared for as best he could.

After their long embrace, Jay and Alex got out of bed to get ready for the day. Jay decided to shower with Alex, which he gladly agreed to once asked. The pair entered the bathroom together, closing the door before getting undressed.

Once they were both ready, they got into the already turned on shower, beginning to wash themselves. The shower didn't take too long, so they were out pretty quick. Despite them both already seeing each other naked, it was still a shockingly beautiful sight. Alex found it hard to contain himself, but wasn't really feeling like being intimate today.

Eventually, they had both gotten dressed. Jay had noticed that Alex was more quiet then usual, but understood that he wasn't feeling himself today. Jay still tried to make conversation with Alex though, even if he only got a mumbled response. He knew it was better to keep showing his boyfriend attention, since if he didn't Alex might have listened to the thoughts of self hatred he was experiencing.

Jay's POV.
Jay: "Hey baby?"

Alex: *Looks at Jay.* "Mm?"

Jay: "I'm gonna go downstairs and make breakfast for us both. Do you want to come with me?"

Alex: *Mumbles.* "In a minute. You go down and make it and I'll be there by the time it's done."

Jay: "O-ok. As long as you'll be ok being left alone!"

Alex: "Yeah I'll be fine."

Jay: "Ok, but if anything changes please come and see me!"

Alex: "I will. Don't worry."

Jay: "Ok. I love you!"

Alex: "Love you too!"

I left my room, leaving Alex in there before beginning to walk downstairs towards to kitchen. I knew Tim and Brian were in there and wanted to tell them to go easy on Alex today, and explain the situation. I know Brian would understand but I was more worried that Tim would say something. Out of the two he's always been the one who would speak his mind even if it hurt someone.

Jay: *Walks into the kitchen. Sees Tim and Brian.* "Hey guys."

Tim: "Hey."

Brian: "Hi Jay. D'you sleep well?"

Jay: "Not really."

Brian: "Oh. Was it just that you couldn't sleep or was it like me where you partner keeps you up all night?" *Smirks. Looks at Tim.*

Tim: *Face palms.* "It's too early for this."

Jay: "Uhh no. Alex had a pretty bad nightmare and I was comforting him with it!"

Brian: "Oof. Seems pretty bad if he needed comfort! Do you mind saying what it was about?"

Jay: "It was about... when he shot me.... And then ended in him waking up to my decaying corpse lying next to him in bed.....Then he woke up screaming."
