Jay's POV.
It was 2AM. I had tossed and turned in my bed all night, desperately trying to get comfortable. I could feel Alex sleeping next to me which was soothing, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get to sleep. Today had really troubled me. Seeing Alex cry so uncontrollably really hurt. I know he was hurt by seeing Jessica, as well as Amy, Seth, and Sarah, but it made me wander if there was ever a chance of Alex making up with them like Tim and Brian did.

I thought our movie night would help distract me, but it didn't. Not enough anyways... I've been trying to stay strong for Alex right now but... I don't know how long I can do it for.

I got out of bed, making sure not to move too much and wake up my boyfriend. I quietly opened the bedroom door walking out, closing it afterwards. I creeped downstairs just so I could process everything that happened today without disturbing anyone.

I walked into the kitchen to sit down at the dining table, but before I could I heard my name being called. Little did I know, Brian was stood by the sink. I jumped back slightly, shocked to see someone else up and awake at this hour.

Brian: "Jay? What are you doing awake?"

Jay: "Couldn't sleep. Why are you awake?" *Sits down.*

Brian: "Same reason. How come you couldn't sleep? Are you ok?" *Sits down next to Jay at table.*

Jay: "I guess so. I'm just worried about Alex. I've never seen him have such a strong reaction to something."

Brian: "I suppose you mean with Jessica?"

Jay: "Yeah."

Brian: "Do you want to talk about what happened? I won't judge."

Jay: *Reluctant.* "Well.... I suppose I can... pretty much, when Alex saw Jessica, Amy, Seth, and Sarah all alive he freaked out. He ran away as fast as I've ever seen him run... almost like he was scared. And I mean... I don't blame him. If I had just seen 4 people I thought were dead I'd be terrified too."

Brian: "Why did he think they were dead?"

Jay: *Sighs.* "I probably shouldn't tell you this but.... Alex tried to kill Seth and Amy, may have tried to kill Sarah, and tried to shot Jessica before...."

Brian: "Before what?"

Jay: "Before Masky... or Tim in his masked personality... intervened by.... Tackling him to the ground."

Brian: "Oh.... If you don't mind me asking... how do you know all this?"

Jay: "Well... Seth Alex told me about earlier when he was crying, Sarah I assumed with the information I have, Amy I saw on the tapes, and Jessica... I was with at the time... because..." *Starts crying slightly.* "He was going to kill me too."

Brian: "Oh my god.... Jay I'm so sorry that happened.... If you ever want someone to talk to about this then..." *Sympathetic.*

Jay: *Anxious.* "I shouldn't have even told you.

Brian: "No you should have. I know it helps you to talk about it. Plus I'd rather you tell someone than bottle it all up. I know how bad that can be."

Jay: "But now you won't want him to live with you. Or at least that's what I've been worried of."

Brian: "Jay... you don't have to worry about that. I understand what Alex is like. We understand. And we know how much you care about him too... so we wouldn't dare do anything to upset you."

Jay: *Smiles.* "Thanks. What caused you to not be able to sleep then? Is something troubling you too?"

Brian: "Oh uhh... nothing important." *Hiding something and looks away.*
