Elliot sighed as Liv fooled with her coffee cup. "I'm sorry, Liv. I told her we werent several times over."

She nodded absentmindedly. After everything she has done to keep those two together, Kathy accuses her of sleeping with her husband. Liv, of course, would love to have a chance to sleep with Elliot, or at the very least tell him how much he actually means to her. He was married though. Forbidden fruit.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him remove his ring. She tried to not react as his shoved his  ring in his pants pocket. "I think we're gonna get a divorce," he muttered. His ring wasn't burning him anymore.

"What about counseling?" Liv suggested quietly. Elliot shook his head.

"We tried that last time. The only reason why I'm at home is because of Eli, and that is no marriage." He ate more of the hash rounds, massaging his bare ring finger as if he had burn marks.

"Elliot?"

Elliot turned to who called his name. It was his wife. She had their twins beside her, looking a little mad. "Kathy, what's wrong?"

She looked at him then at Olivia, her lips tightly sealed in an angry pout. "I woke up and you were gone. What happened? Why are you here?"

Sighing, Elliot started explaining, "Liv called with a case early this morning. We came out to get something to eat, some coffee."

Dickie looked at Olivia, pissed. "Looks like a breakfast date to me," his hissed.

Lizzie shoved her brother, saying nothing. Elliot stared at his son. He had previously accused Liv of sleeping with him in interrogation, in front of Cragen. It definitely shocked him. His own son accusing him of cheating. "Dickie, say something like that again and you wont be leaving the house until your 18."

Dickie scoffed and went to Frank to order a donut, Liz in tow. Kathy watched them go, then looked Elliot square in the eyes. "He's right, Elliot. It does look like that."

Elliot shifted from one foot to another, getting angry. "There is nothing going on between Liv and I."

Without blinking, Kathy asked, "Then where's your wedding ring?"

Again, he rubbed the spot where his wedding ring had been as if it set fire to his finger. He could almost feel his ring weighing down his pants like a ton of bricks. "In my pocket. It was burning my finger."

Kathy crossed her arms, "Why?"

I want a divorce. I want to be with Liv. "Just because." Elliot looked down at his feet as he said it. At first he didn't know if she heard him, but when she scoffed and went to the twins, Elliot knew he was sleeping in a hotel tonight.

As Elliot watched Kathy and his kids leave down the road to the store, Liv went to him. "You okay?" she asked, placing a hand on his arm. Dickie looked back, as Elliot buried his head him her shoulder. "It will be okay, El."

"You know you can sleep at my place, right?" Liv suggested as they walked back into the precinct. Munch and Fin were leaving to do background on the victim.

"Whoa now, Liv, bold as ever," Munch muttered in his smirking voice.

Fin rolled his eyes as his stepped into the elevator. "Lets get going, Munch."

Liv smiled as Munch looked at her with over his glasses. Elliot hadn't said a word, in fear of loosing it. He knew his marriage wasn't working anymore, however that didnt mean he liked the fact that he wasn't at home with his kids. Liv looked at him, snapping her fingers in his face. "El?"

Jumping a bit, he smiled. "That's great, thanks. Save me a lot of money."

"What are friends for?" She stated with a smile.

I dont want to be just friends anymore, though. Elliot smiled back at her, not daring to say anything.

"Benson, Stabler, go to Williams school get a statement from the students," Cragen ordered, going to answer the phone in his office.

"On our way, now."

Apparently, Greg and his gang hadn't seen her that day, but video proof said otherwise. It was basically and open and shut case. Although Lydia's parents were also abusing her physically and verbally. She was placed in the care of her grandmother, who was all to pleased to have her.

"I wish all cases were this open and shut." Elliot grunted his agreement. "Will we need to go get some clothes?" Elliot nodded.

They arrived at Elliot's house within twenty minutes. Sighing, he glanced at her. "I'll be quick." Liv nodded, watching him leave into his house. Three minutes went by, then there was yelling, a door slam and Elliot walking to the car angry. He threw his bags in the back seat and opened the passenger door. Once he was in the car he sighed heavily to control his anger. "You okay?"

Elliot gritted his teeth. "No, I'm not."

Liv started driving to her apartment, and after arguing with Elliot if she should help him bring his three bags in, she lost, they were home. It was around eight pm and she hadn't been home since around three this morning. "So, there's only one bed, but if you want you can take the bed and I'll take the couch. Sometimes its more comfy anyway."

She set her keys and badge on the kitchen counter, going to grab a bottle of wine. "No, Liv, I'm not gonna put you out. I'll take the couch." She went to find two glasses and walked to the living room.

"Make you a deal, we're both adults here. We will both take the bed if you tell me what happened at your place." Liv sat down, pouring two glasses of wine.

Elliot sat his stuff down behind the could and walked around, undoing his tie and untucking his shirt. "You mind?" She shook her head. He took his shirt off and unbuckled his belt. He hated belts sometimes. He sat down beside her, taking the glass she handed him.

"Kathy and Dickie saw you in the car. They accused me again of having an affair." He took a drink. She followed him.

"I'm sorry, El." She looked at his bare chest, the scars from all the bullet wounds he's gotten in the past. She loved watching him change shirts in the locker rooms.

"Earth to Liv," he placed a hand on her thigh. She jumped as if he hit her. They chuckled. "Where'd you go just now?"

She took a drink of her courage and said, "Thinking of you."

"What about me?" He asked slyly, scooting closer to her. If his family was going to accuse him of cheating, he will prove them right. He loved Liv, and wanted to be with her. In any way possible.

"Every time I saw you change. That night I had to pretend to be your hooker when you were undercover in that tiger ring. How I wanted to actually finish things with you then." She took another drink.

Elliot had already finished his glass and sat it down on the table. "I loved that moment."
