Celestia's POV

RING... RING...

"Ugh..." I muttered, reaching over the snooze button of my alarm. "I really hate alarms.." I muttered. I began to remember what happened yesterday, I was having a sleepover with Dominique, my bestie. "Dom, wake up." I said groggily, although I wished I was still able to sleep myself. "What?" She asked sleepily. "Its first day of freshman year." I said. She groaned. "Why.."

"You're not the only one." I said. "Who first?" Dominique asked, staring at the bathroom. "You first, I need to do something." I answered. She nodded and grabbed her towel before entering. I reviewed my books before I took a bath. You can't forget lessons in the first day of school. It would be embarrassing. At least for me anyway.

After taking a bath, I made my hair into a French Braid. "Ugh, I hate uniforms," Dom whined, holding her own white shirt and blue plaid skirt. "Why can't they just let us wear normal clothes instead of this trash?" She groaned. "Its a school, Dom. There is something called rules." I said, glaring at her.

"But I don't like it," she said. "I don't care. Let's just go have breakfast, I'm starving." I said, my eyes still droopy. "Girl, I wonder why you prepare first before you say breakfast; that's not how I do." Dominique said, weirded out. "Well, that's what I do." I grinned at her, before I slung my backpack on my shoulder and went downstairs.

"Hey mom, dad," I greeted, smiling at the pancakes that were waiting for me. "Hi, Mrs. Harolds, Mr. Harolds." Dominique greeted nervously. "Hello, Dominique. Don't me nervous, we don't bite," Dad said lightly as he sipped his coffee. "And just call us Beth and Daniel," Mom added.

"You finished?" I asked after finishing my pancakes. "Yeah, I'm done. Let's go to school."

School was as usual, buzzing with voices. Girls were gossiping and guys were.. Meh, probably talking about sports and whatever. "So, what extracurriculars you wanna take?" Dom asked me. "I don't know, maybe Choir or maybe Drama." I muttered.

"The most annoying couple in the universe, 12 o'clock." Dominique whispered. I turned around to see, well, the worst sight ever. "Why are they still here?" I groaned. "With them here, school is hell!" "I know," Dominique said.

If you were wondering who they are, I'll tell you. Its the most popular prep and the most popular jock in school. They're a famous couple, everyone knows about them.

Even the teachers.

The girl is called Charlotte Valestine, and she is the worst girl you will ever see. Fine, I'm too polite. She is a serious bitch. She thinks she's the best, and he way she flips her hair, and just basically exists in this world makes my entire life torture.

She's a stuck up snob.

The guy is a totally different story. When I was twelve, we were best friends. We were best friends for two years, until he left me for Charlotte. Well, I don't see what he saw in her.

She is gorgeous, all right. Blonde hair, blue eyes, short figure, and like normal preps, but her grades and her attitude was covered by her good looks and her posse. You'll know how it feels to be bullied if you met her.

She tried to blackmailed me once, and I returned the favor; I punched her on the face. That was when she stopped bullying me.

Dominique was not so popular, but she has her line of admirers. Jeremy Kingston was a year older than us, and he was one of the guys who had a big crush on Dom.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you the guy's name.

He's called Matthew Jones. Totally a player, and is such an asshole. Who left his best friend for a girl who he barely knew?

As for me, I'm decent. I never got below an A- in my entire life, I'm a good singer, and well, yeah.

I have brown-black, wavy hair with blue hazel eyes. I'm kinda tall, 5'7, and I towered Dominique. She's tiny, only around 5'2. But, I've got my fair share of guys, but just make this clear; I've never been in a relationship, and I have never kissed.

"Don't look." Dominique whispered, but I looked anyway. Matthew and Charlotte were exchanging saliva. "Eww.." I groaned. Marlotte was a famous ship name of Matthew and Charlotte, who I personally found it hideous to here.

Know a main reason: I have a crush on him.

Well, had a crush. But it still kinda hurts, you know, seeing the guy you used to like with another girl, constantly snogging and PDAs in public. "I told you not to look," Dom shrugged.

I glared at her. "First day and everything's worse." I said. "Yeah, so much for a first day," Dominique sighed. "Let's go pick up our class schedules than looking at these sh**." I sneered, my eyes never leaving the annoying couple. "I agree," Dominique said.

Principal Rogers, always the same look on her. She always had her blonde hair tied on a bun, her gray eyes squinted from giving us looks below her think, black framed glasses, and she always wore a blue shirt tucked into a white skirt.

"Miss Harolds, Miss Geralds," Principal Rogers said, her stern eyes never leaving us. "We've come to take our class schedules, Mrs. Rogers," I explained, biting my lip. "Yes, of course," Principal Rogers said and gave me and Dom our class schedules.

"We have all of our classes together!" I exclaimed, after scanning my schedule. "Yup! This is great! A good news, at last!" Dominique said dramatically.

"Hello, girls," said another voice. We both turned around. "Missed me?" "Kim!!" We both squealed and hugged our other best friend. "Where's Stella?" Stella, Kim, me and Dom, you can say, well, they're my squad.

Stella Patricks, Kimberly Calvin, Dominique Geralds and Celestia Harolds, the four girls with the highest grades in school. I had always loved my friends, but there is something I have to keep to myself, something no one can know.
