Celestia's POV
I felt absolutely giddy.
My parents were absolutely proud for me being recommended on the play, and I loved acting. But its not that.
Matthew and I.
Our bickering, love-hate relationship had developed to be something more. From the hatred, love blooms.
Some things aren't meant to be. But I believe, we are meant to be.
And right now, I'm in a car, Matthew was taking me to a 'place' that he said was a surprise. I couldn't be happier.
He blindfolded my eyes.
"Come on."
He led me through rocky paths, and when I opened my eyes, the rocky paths were worth crossing.
The sky was dark, and millions of stars glittered across the dark sky, and we sat there, his arm on my shoulder, staring at the stars.
The silence was awkward, but it didn't matter.
"What do you think?" Matthew broke the ice, and I grinned. "It's enchanting. I wish we can stay here forever." I sighed dreamily, staring at the skies.
"We can, but not today. We need to go to dinner." He said, and grasped my hands. "With my parents." I squeaked.
And squeaked.
"But, my clothes-" Matthew cut me off by kissing my lips gently for a short time, and as he pulled away, I leaned on his chest.
"You always look perfect to me, Celestia Harolds."
Jones Household.
"Mom? Dad?" I gasped, seeing my parents in fancy clothing, talking with Matthew's parents. "You all know each other?" Matthew asked.
"They do." Matthew's younger sister, Aimee, said. Aimee was only nine, they had a seven year difference.
"You must be Celestia!" Mrs. Harolds gushed, smiling at me. "Matthew has told me so much about you. One dinner, he was smiling and said, 'Celestia has the most beautiful eyes'-"
"Mom!" Matthew blushed. "Don't worry, Matt. You have gorgeous eyes, too." And I pecked him on the cheek, even though my cheeks were scarlet."Oh, look! Matthew, I call bridesmaid!" Aimee called, and we both blushed. I didn't know who's face was redder, mine or Matthew's.
My father walked over, and said, "Matthew." "Mr. Jones." Matthew greeted respectfully. "Its just Daniel." Dad waved him off. Mom came.
"Matthew Jones. We heard quite a lot about you." Mom smiled. "Pleasure to meet you Mrs. Harolds," Matthew said. "Oh, please, its just Bethany." Mom smiled bright at him.
"I'm Vera Jones, Celestia, dear. And don't even bother call me Mrs. Jones, just call me Vera." Vera said brightly.
"Of course. Its wonderful to meet you, Vera." I said.
Matthew's father approached me.
"Steve Jones, call me Steve. Its good to meet you, Celestia."
He was more stiff than Vera, but opposites attract.
"Pleasure to meet you, Steve." And I offered him a small curtsy, and he gave me a smile.
"Well, here's the deal." Mom said.
"Daniel, Vera, Steve and I are going on a business trip for a month. We are planning for Aimee and Matthew to stay at our house, Celestia."
My smile widened.
"Of course, mom." I said graciously.
"Don't try anything, son." Dad warned. "Not that I dislike you, but you're still in school, and Aimee is there-"
"Dad!" I snapped, my turn to blush.
Matthew kissed my forehead.
"Don't worry, Daniel. I'll wait until she's Mrs. Jones to do that." I gasped a little, and he gave me a loving stare.
I cupped his face in my hands, and his hands slithered to my waist, as our lips met.
He nibbled on my lower lip, begging to come inside.
I let him.
"EHEM!" Steve boomed, and we pulled apart, blushing.
"Celly, you'll be my older sister in law for sure!" Aimee gushed.
"I'll be holding that promise, Matthew." Dad said warningly.
"I'm too young to be a grandma." Vera complained.
"Agreed, Vera." Mom agreed, and Steve looked at us. "I don't want to be a grandpa yet, Matthew, Celestia. Save it for five more years or so."
"Nothing like that, dad. Promise." Matthew said, before smiling at me.
"Where were we?" I asked charmingly, and Aimee's joking call of "GET A ROOM!" was heard.
"We will, Aims." Matthew grinned, and pulled me to the guest room. "Remember what dad said, Matt." I said happily.
"Of course, princess." He whispered huskily in my ear, before our lips crashed.
