Celestia POV
I HATE MAKE UP!
Well, don't get me wrong. I do love the school parties, but Christmas Party? I as well as fucking hell not go. I took my red, cocktail frilly dress a bit under my knees and red-white heels.
I only wore red eye shadow and blush. I never bothered with mascara.
Ever.
"Celestia, your date is here!" I could hear my mother's not so happy voice. She never really accepted Matthew yet, because of the fact that he had, made me cut a long time ago.
"Coming!" I yelled.
It took lots of my might to go down the stairs hurriedly without tripping.
"Oh, shit," I said, as I saw Matthew, in a tux.
"That is a rare sight." I smiled at him, and my dad cleared his throat. "Sorry, dad," I muttered.
"Mr. Harolds," Matthew said, quite nervously. "I'm taking your daughter for the school Christmas Party."
"You've made that quite clear," Dad said annoyedly, "by you coming to our house in a tuxedo and all."
But Dad chuckled. "Just don't hurt her, again," he said.
I blushed.
"You should've known how long she cried when you ignored her with that bitch ex of yours."
"Dad!" I hissed. Matthew and Dad laughed. I hit both of their arms. "Go." Dad gestured. We both arrived at school kinda quickly.
"I'm gonna go check the party decorations." I said. Matthew kissed my cheek, and I blushed.
"See you later, gorgeous." I giggled and went to the main hall.
"Hey, girls!" I greeted. Kiki waved. "The decorations are great!" Stella said happily.
"Today, the host will tell us the Queen and the King." Kim said excitedly.
"Its definitely Charlotte, again." I sighed, my mood dropping immediately.
"No way! She can't bully us this year. Look at our prank! That definitely ruined her reputation. And our LATER BACKFIRE PRANK!" Joanne screamed.
"And ours," I muttered under my breath.
"I hate this school! Why doesn't it have free WiFi?" Vanessa whined. We laughed.
Third Person POV
The host was Teresa, she was hired.
"Welcome to this year's Christmas Party!" People cheered. Christmas songs were given everywhere, but then, it was the time where everyone was waiting for, the King and Queen of the Next Term.
"This King and Queen, is gonna be different. There will be no votes," the students gasped.
"We will choose based on all of the records of the school."
"I'll lose for sure," Celestia sighed.
Matthew put a hand on her shoulder.
"You won't."
"The Queen is.." Teresa said slowly,
"Celestia Harolds!"
They could hear an annoyed wail from Charlotte.
"What?" Celestia spluttered.
"And the King is.. Matthew Jones!"
Celestia hyperventilated.
The two nervously(Well, Celestia was nervous) went up the stage. "Congratulations!" Teresa congratulated.
Celestia felt the crown being placed on her head. She couldn't be happier. She curtsied to the crowd.
The crowd cheered loudly. Matthew's crown was placed, and the two held hands and raised them on the air, like Katniss and Peeta the first time they rode the chariot.
Only there wasn't any fire surrounding.
Celestia grinned.
Suddenly, the crowd parted. There were so many of them that they created words.
Will you be my girlfriend?
Celestia turned at Matthew, who was smiling broadly.
"You planned this?"
"I didn't plan for us being the King and Queen, but I did plan, if I was King, to invite you to stage and do this."
"Of course I will!" Celestia jumped into his embrace. The crowd whooped, and some 'aww'ed.
Charlotte stomped outside.
Celestia and Matthew began to dance. It was a song from a Disney movie.
Let's set it off, oh yeah
Start a chain reaction
Never let it stopCelestia and Matthew kissed.
It was calm and cool, unlike the usual passionate life.
This is the life I've been dreaming of,
Celestia thought happily.
Her mind wandered off to the first page of her old diary. And smiled.
I'll love again. Thanks for giving me the life I always wanted.
