Third Person POV
Since the 'stealing homework' thing, Celestia and Dominique had reconciled and were best friends again, Matthew and Celestia were close again, and Matthew was trying to buckle up a courage to ask her out.
"Just do it, mate," Niall said. "Do what I did! 5 roses, 5 notes, and a yes." "She'll think I'm copying you!" Matthew said, shaking his head.
"Look, do you want to ask her or not." Niall demanded, his face serious. "Yes." Matthew said. "Then, think. If you really want to ask her, you'll know." He left for Biology.
And Matthew got an excellent idea how to ask her.
Celestia POV
"What's going on with him today?" Celestia asked Kiki, who was accompanying her. Dominique and the other were in History, except for the two, who had a free period.
"Matthew's very jumpy recently."
"Hmm.." Kiki drawled with a teasing tone. "So you care for him so much?" Celestia blushed.
"I do not."
"Then why do you notice that?" Kiki asked.
Celestia scowled and shoved Kiki playfully.
"I do not like Matthew." Celestia pressed.
"You do."
"I don't."
"You do."
"I don't."
"You do."
"I do. Wait what?"
"Gotcha!" Kiki smiled victoriously.
"Fine.. I may like him." Celestia said. Noticing the look on Kiki's face, she quickly added, "a bit!" Kiki laughed.
"Here comes the devil."
Matthew walked towards them, and he looked nervous.
"Hey Cel, Ki," he greeted. "Hi Matthew." The both said in unison. "Are you coming to the Football Match today?" He asked to the both, although his eyes never left Celestia, who looked down and blushed, playing with the ends of her ponytail.
"Yeah, of course we do!" Kiki exclaimed happily, and she saw the shy look that rarely came to Celestia's face.
"That's great! Because there'll be a surprise there, and you'll want to see it." He said, back to his cool and confident self, before leaving.
"Cel, I totally saw that. You have a crush on him." Kiki said cheerfully.
"I don't." Celestia said to Kiki, her own face red, and if her hair was red, she would've become a human tomato. And she thanked God her hair was dark brown, although she would like it if she wore it down today, for it revealed her red cheeks.
Kiki ignored her, and she gushed, "And Matthew likes you too! I just have to find a ship name for this."
"There's no ship name to be made!" Celestia said exasperatedly. "He doesn't like me." Kiki just sighed and changed the subject. "So.. What do you think the surprise is?" She asked curiously.
"I don't know.. Probably some sort of team announcements.." Celestia muttered. "I'm going to ask Niall for spoilers!" Kiki glowed as she left.
"She's crazy.." Celestia muttered under her breath and looked at her watch. "Oh shit. Its 1! Its Algebra!"
She rushed to the Classroom, where Kim, the only person that was her best friend there had saved her a seat. "Thanks." She said, out of breath.
"This is the first time I'm thankful of Mr. Robert always late." "Yeah, and its rare, that you're late." Kim said. "Oh.. Its just.. Stuff." She said, and Kim, being the understanding person she is, shrugged it off without a question.
-Football Match-
Goal!
The Cheerleader's shrieks were as loud as hell, and it would make Celestia's ears bomb, if she wasn't cheering herself. Fortunately for her, she was.
Celestia had bet with Kim that Matthew's team would win. Kim bet Kevin's would. And, Celestia won.
"Woohoo!!" Celestia squealed, along with everyone else who had bet on him.
"Everyone!" Suddenly, Matthew screamed.
Oh, Celestia thought. So this must be the surprise.. Announcement! Whatever.
"I want to ask someone about something that might change my life." He said.
Oh.. Celestia thought. He must be asking Charlotte back.
"I would like to ask Celestia Evangeline Harolds, if she would go out with me." He stated boldly, and Celestia gasped.
She was excited, thrilled, happy, touched, and everything inside her was bubbling in excitement and happiness.
Matthew walked from the field to the bleachers, ignoring Charlotte, who was one of the Cheerleaders on the Squad, who's face was sour and angry.
"Cel, would you like to go out with me?" He asked bravely, although he seemed quite nervous. Celestia did not need to think twice, and this was the first time she didn't think about anything that she wanted to say to him.
"Yes! Defiantly yes."
Matthew turned back to the crowd, and he was glowing with happiness.
"She said Yes!"
The crowd cheered, except for Charlotte, who instructed(more like demanded) everyone in the Cheerleading Squad not be cheer for them.
And that day, Celestia walked back home with a grin on her face, her entire self glowing.
