Third Person POV
Celestia walked to with Dominique. Her driver was sick, so he couldn't possibly drive her to school. "I am so nervous.." Dominique said to Celestia, staring at her English book.
"Its our first of monthly exams, and its English! My weakest subject is English!" Since Kiki dated Niall, she had less time to hang out with the Squad, but they are still good friends.
"Come on, you have to study, Dom! Not just spending your days browsing the Internet or playing your games." Celestia said. "You play games too!" Dominique whined. "Yeah, but English is my strongest subject. If it was Math, I wouldn't dare to."
Dominique looked proud. "I don't have to study Math." Celestia knocked Dominique's forhead. "No matter how good you are in it, you still have to study!"
Mrs. Regina came in, and all of the students quieted down. "I don't want to see any books on the table. Or any papers. Only your stationary." All of the students' heart were beating out of their chests.
Mrs. Regina's English Tests were known to be extremely difficult. Last time, there was no one who got past eighty-six. "There will be no talking. Just do your test." Mrs. Regina walked around the class to give out the test papers.
"You have one hour and a half. Check it first after you finish, because after you put it on my table, you cannot take it back."
Celestia and Kiki finished in the next forty-five minutes, and they were dying of boredom.-After the Test-
"My God, Celestia! It was so hard!" Dominique wailed. "Its easy, Dom.. Although I'm sure I would have crossed the answer wrong in Question twenty-three, and maybe number fifteen B of the essay wrong.." Celestia said.
"Come on, you'll do great!" Dominique encouraged. "I hope.. You'll do great too!" Celestia said. She opened her locker to put her books and grab her lunch box, to find a note flying out.
'Meet me in the Cafeteria after school. Bring no one. I have something to tell you.'
"OMG.. Might it be a secret-" "No." Celestia said. ""It is not. I do not have any stupid, so-called secret admirers, and I don't intend to. I am going to go find out what he or she has to tell me in the cafeteria and don't hope of following me." She burst out.
Dominique understood. Last time Celestia thought someone liked her, it hurt her forever. And the scars of her cut because of him still lasts until now.
"Sorry.." Celestia whispered. "I didn't mean to freak like that." "Its alright, Cel. I know you experienced something like that, and it didn't turn out good."
-After School-
The cafeteria was empty. Only around two or three students sat there. There was a couple, she remembered them as the Grade Nine couple, called Gabriella and James. And another person. It was Matthew, and he was sitting alone, waving at Celestia to come sit.
"You were the one who sent the note." Celestia said. "Yes." Matthew said. "I am not falling for another of your tricks, Matthew." He winced.
"Don't you see what you did to me?" Celestia didn't say anything else. She rolled open her jacket. It showed her bars wrists, and there were scars. One was very long, starting from wrists and covered by her school uniform sleeves.
The other one was short, and near her hand. Another one seemed the oldest, it was near her school sleeve, a few centimeters down so it doesn't cover it.
"You cut?" Matthew asked, and he felt very guilty. "Yes." Celestia's voice was quivering. "Most are on my feet, but don't think I'm gonna show it to you. Cause you're the reason, Matthew. Its all because of you. So don't even pretend you don't know."
Celestia was known for her sharp words, especially when she was not happy. She was blunt, and straightforward. "I really like you, Celestia. And this time it's not a rumour, and I'm not lying." "Shut up!" Celestia went to walk away, but Matthew held her wrist gently and turned her around.
And the she felt his lips on hers.
At first, she was reluctant. Her mind tried her best to not kiss back, but her heart wanted it. Her whole life, she had always followed her head, not her heart. This time, its time to change.
And she kissed back.
"You're a great kisser." Matthew said, although his cheeks were blushing very darkly.
Celestia's face was crimson.
"You have to be glad, Matthew. That was my first. I've been saving it for a long, long time." And they kissed again.
