Third Person POV
Everyone in school were buzzing with gossip. Everyone was glowing with excitement. There was a rumor that was ninety nine percent true, saying that the school will hold a trip to Paris, France in around two weeks.
"Do you think its really true?" Dominique asked Kiki. "I hope." Kiki said. "Oh, it is, alright." Celestia said, smiling widely. "What do you mean?" Joanne asked.
"Check your tables. The paper was already distributed just now. We're going to go to Paris for two nights and three days. Pack up, the rumors were false. Its for next week. Make sire you have passports." Celestia grinned widely.
"Damn you and your teacher's petness." Vanessa exclaimed. "Its called observant, Nessa." Celestia said lightly as Stella asked Vanessa "is petness a word?" Vanessa shrugged.
-In Class-
Sir. Davis came in, and the students stopped chattering. Without greeting, he went straight to the point. "You see there are the papers distributed to your tables." He said.
"If you are up to the trip to Paris, fill it in. Make sure you have passports, and you will be set into groups. Ten people each. One teacher will be guiding each group. Group one is; Celestia, Dominique, Kiki, Joanne, Vanessa, Niall, Matthew, Bryan, Eugene and Kevin. Your guide will be Ms. Regina."
They cheered. Ms. Regina was their favorite teacher. But Celestia heaved a deep sigh.
Paris is supposed to be fun. But why am I paired with the guy I'm dreading to be with?
"Next." Mr. Davis continued. "Group two consists Stella, Kimberly, Kezia, Drizela, Felicia, Will, William, Jonathan, Daniel and Axle. Your Guide will be me." There was no comment from them, apparently.
"There will be three groups each class. Okay. Moving on! Group three is Helen, Sharon, Charlotte, Laurel, Jessica, Walker, Raymond, Kenneth, Elliot and George. Your guide will be Ms. Sylvia."
Matthew was happy not to be paired up with Charlotte, but he was also as nervous as hell. Paired up with the girl he'd made furious.
"Collect the forms latest in two days. Ones who collect later than that, can have a holiday." Everyone was determined to come.
"This is gonna be great!! We're partners!" Joanne squealed. "I know, right?" Kiki exclaimed.
Celestia wondered. She could go to Paris, France. She could see the Eiffel tower! By plane! With her friends! That would be wonderful.
-One Week Later..-
Students gathered at the field. Celestia and her friends came hurriedly, and they each brought two trolleys and a backpack with them. After getting their name tags and rules, they went to the airport and boarded the plane.
"Where do you sit?" She asked Kiki and Dominique. "Seat 24D." Kiki answered, the same time as Dominique said 'Seat 24E'. "That's great! I'm 24F." Celestia said happily. "But who's on 24G?" "I am."
It was Matthew, and Celestia dreaded him to sit next to her.
Kimberly and Stella sat next to each other. Niall and Jeremy together with them and was on their back. In front of them were Jessica, Joanne, Vanessa and Charlotte.
"Okay. This is going to be a pleasant ride.." Celestia said as she relaxed on her seat and watched a video from the small gadget in front of her. You know, the one behind the other passenger's seats.
Soon, everyone was asleep. The school chose a night flight rather than the morning ones, which annoyed her, since she can't really sleep in planes. "You're still awake?" Matthew asked her, but Celestia ignored him.
"Look, we're going to Paris. Paris, okay? Its a place where all of you girls want to go. So let's just fix our feuds and continue it later, back at school, okay?" She just glared at him, but sighed eventually. "Fine. Its better talking to someone than watching them, all sleeping."
You might be thinking, you could just watch a movie, or play in that stupid gadget!
But nothing captured Celestina's interest.
Maybe it was a good thing the plane gave out the most boring movies in Celestia's opinion. If not, she will not stay bored with nothing to do.
She will not be able to talk to Matthew.
"So.. What do you think Paris will be like?" He asked, trying to make a small conversation.
"I'm defiantly interested in the Eiffel tower, and the legend, or myth about Quasimodo.. There's a Disney movie about it, I think." Celestia said airily, taking out her IPod and scrolling through the music she wanted to listen.
"Yeah.. Might be cool." Matthew shrugged. "I heard we're staying on a three or four star hotel." Matthew added. "Yeah. Our school's rich. If they gave us penthouses with that much of money they have, I'll strangle the principle myself."
Matthew grinned.
They had a good laugh, with Celestia humming the songs that was currently playing in her ears.
But in Paris, all that was about to change.
